I frequent this Walgreens almost weekly to get whatever household things I need, because I live a block away, but after today, I will not be returning here. I often walk to Fresh Market and Walgreens to do my shopping, so I will carry a backpack and some shopping bags instead of a purse, for comfort while I am walking. Today, when I walked in, instead of being greeted kindly like I usually am, I was asked to leave my backpack(which had my wallet and belongings in it, since I use it as a purse) at the front of the store. I understand why they asked, they must have a problem with theft, but I do not believe it is reasonable to asks customers to leave their bags at the counter with the clerks. That is what security cameras are for. So, because I was insulted and made to feel uncomfortable, I will no longer be returning to this store. I will simply walk across the street to Rite-Aid(where I wasn’t made to feel like a thief for simply carrying a backpack).

Pretty good store. They’ve got all the standard things you would want at a Walgreens. Sometimes, in a pinch, I’ll go there to pick up some stuff for some quick household maintenance. The reason for three stars: they have that policy where everytime you walk in the store, the staff will hit you with a pre-programmed, «Hi, how are you? Welcome to Walgreens. Is there anything that we can help you with?» This seems innocuous enought but if you’re in the store a lot(I live nearby) it feels like you are being bombarded with superficiality. It’s unsettling. Let me emphasize, this greeting I’m talking about(or similar) is what EVERY staff member in the store is required to say upon first seeing you, every visit.

I went in a few days ago and got some meds. I received a call a few days later asking how I was handling those new meds. The follow up call really made the difference. This location was thorough and took the time to make sure I was satisfied. Love it!

Wow. Long story short, just had a not great customer service experience here. Staff are obviously undertrained and manager was a bit curt. Will be avoiding this place from now on.

This pharmacist has such a «I don’t care» attitude. His customer service skills are atrocious!

Had my photos developed here. I came back after 30min and had to wait 10 min while they found someone to help. When they finally arrived the machine was out of paper so I had to wait even longer. Not coming back here.

Despite being busy everyone welcomed me on the way in the store. I needed help finding an item and a young lady pointed it out.

Always clean and convenient but perpetually understaffed. One of the few places I can find a USAAATM. It seems as though there is only one register open at a time no matter how busy they get, but the drinks are always cold and they’re rarely out of stock when it comes to common meds. Try finding somewhere else who can brag about always having enough Zyrtec during ragweed season. Their free rewards program can garner you some great deals, so make sure you sign up. When there’s no one behind you in line, of course.

The store is fine, but the pharmacy totally sucks! Every time I’ve been there there’s only 2 – 3 people waiting in line for meds and the pharmacist moves at a snails pace and spends more time on the phone than filling the scripts?! Forget it and go anywhere else.

I enjoy going to this pharmacy mainly because it is so close to where I live and because it is open 24hrs. However, because of these qualities that evidently other people enjoy as well, they are always very busy. They always seem to be short pharmacists/pharmacy techs and so many mistakes are made with drug filling and they don’t always get things done at the time you request or the time they promise. They offer all the other things that a Walgreens offers. They have a 24 hr drive thru pharmacy and have a photo developing service. They also have a limited supply of groceries and cosmetics. If their pharmacy were improved, then this place would be pretty decent. I only wish that at least one of the two Rite Aids next door were 24 hours as well.

This is my go-to place for cosmetics usually. They have nail polish and eyeliner here that I can’t find anywhere else(plus it’s super cheap at only $ 1.99 a piece, weee!). Also I like the fact that there is an additional check out area specifically for the beauty/cosmetics area. The staff here is very friendly, in fact one older gentleman who works here is SUPER friendly. If you’ve been in here and heard him shout ‘WELCOMETOWALGREENS’ then you know exactly who I am talking about. There is also a pharmacy at this location as well as photo developing. There are a few aisles of food, mostly snacky stuff and drinks. This is a good place to stop in and grab those few items you forgot at the grocery store.
