Super convenient and everything I’ve tried so far has been great. I tend to order after the usual lunch hours so my food is ready in no time. The LA Special is my favorite. Today I got a small side of tomato tortellini soup to go along side my sandwich and it’s quite yummy.

Let’s argue about what I DIDNOT say I wanted on my sandwich. Starting a conversation with«here’s the deal» really wants to make me come back.

A little hard to find — many thanks to the reviewer who said its across the street from the Sentara Norfolk Gen ER — not sure I’d have found it! It’s in the medical building next to The Hague pharmacy. Poor signage, but worth the hunt. Great alternative for folks who have a loved one in the hospital. Especially if you — like me — are sick of Subway. The Steve(or Stevie?) special is yummy — lots o turkey on a kaiser with Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and cole slaw heated til it’s toasty. They were out of pastrami, but I was going to have them leave it off anyway. My mom barely let me have a bite! I enjoyed the veggie sub — sooo much better than Subway. The cookies were pretty good — and huge — bring your nurse one and be rewarded with a smile! Thanks to my fellow Unilocalers — never would have found it without you.

Wow, so I’ve been on EVMS campus for 4 years now and I only found out about this place last month! I have good friends I tell you! It is tucked away on the first floor of the medical tower across the street from the Sentara Norfolk General Emergency Room. You may have some difficulty finding it, but ask around! Just say you want the sandwich shop and most people who are walking around that area are probably coming from that business. They get really busy around noon so I suggest either calling in your order or eating right before or after. They also deliver! Now to describe what they actually have. Most people go for their sandwiches which are unlike your Subway or Jimmy Johns or Jersey Mikes. I’ve had two kinds and since I’m a creature of habit, I have stuck to those two and have yet to branch out! Their Italian sub with peppers is AWESOME. Thick pieces of salami rolled into a very soft french roll with hot peppers is just what you need to get your day going. Too bad they aren’t open for breakfast! You can order this sandwich hot or cold(I’ve ordered both), but I have a slight preference for the hot one. I’ve also had pastrami which was so packed full of meat that I actually spilled it everywhere. Bring a fork with you! They also have a wide array of freshly baked cookies, salads, different brands of potato chips and drinks. Only open on the weekdays but open until 4:30! Come by and try. Reasonably priced. For an 8 inch sub it costs me $ 6.12 which isn’t bad for what you can find here in Norfolk!

Great sandwiches and reasonably priced. This shop is a little hidden on the first floor of a large building in the EVMS/Sentara complex. They make all of the sandwiches pretty fast and they are normally nice and hot. As far as pricing they are not what I would call cheap. Mostly reasonably priced to high priced depending on your selection. I will return to try some of the other menu selections.
