Bartender was ok. Good selection of craft beer and local brews. We tried the wings, and they were good as well! Right on the main drag of Collie, so a must stop if you are bar hopping. They also had some good deals, but I can’t remember exactly what the specials were.

Went their yesterday which was Sunday. The bartender was nice a friendly and inviting. The three customers their last night were rude, mean, joking with the cook about which to me was not a friendly environment to be in. Overall my food experience here was a 3 the Carolina tangy was just ok if the cook wasn’t busy cracking jokes maybe they would’ve been better. As for the sweet & spicy disappointing. I really would like to speak to someone their I even called today no answer due to the holiday. But this was the worst experience nastily joking people and rude customers and staff engaging with the crude behavior.

Good beer, good wings, great service! As a traveler passing through these guys were welcoming, conversational and friendly. While the sauce on the wings was a touch smothering, the flavor made up for it. If I’m ever in Norfolk again, I’ll seek out a return to Peck & Pour.

Lets talk about the wings. They have a really a awesome combo on the menu where you can get 6 – 10 pic wings which comes with fries(OR upgrade to waffle $ 1 up charge OR sweet potato fries $ 2 up charge). What’s awesome is that you can choose how you want your wings cooked, so you can get them naked(no breading), battered, or boneless(I think). I usually go for naked bc last time I got battered they made me full faster and I want to enjoy my wings. My friends ordered the burgers and really liked it. I’ve also tried the Caesar salad and it was delish. I’m going to try new things the next time I go. They’re beer menu is amazing they carry a handful of local VA brews. Servers are friendly, the service is a bit slow, they seemed understaffed every time I go. And food takes a while to come out but it’s worth the wait. Peck and Pour is East meets West, Korean American fusion bar cuisine and it’s pretty good. This is a great place to bring your friends and catch up and chill.

My husband and I were looking for a place in downtown Norfolk to try for apps and beers. Based on reviews, decided to go with wings along with a chicken quesadilla. Totally disappointed. Our boneless wings were chewy and very fatty. Our quesadilla. just bad. We make quesadillas better at home and we don’t do anything special. Service … Our waitress seemed annoyed by our every request. Bottom line, I’d come back for local beers on tap, but at the bar, nothing else.

Did not try the food however the menu sounded delicious. Plenty of beverage options and a great selections of beers on tap. I always appreciate a place that has different ciders on tap other than angry orchard. Lovely quiet environment. We sat on the patio and had a great afternoon.

This was my first visit to Peck and Pour and it was nothing short of wonderful! A few friends and I decided to go out for some drinks, and Peck and Pour was a great choice. It has a very dive-y feel, and was surprisingly busy on a Wednesday! They have a great selection of locally brewed beers, but my go-to favorite is always a Vienna lager :) Our waitress was attentive and fun, and the bartender of the night, Chris, even came down to our table to chat for a bit before last call. The staff was very personable, the ambience was perfect for grabbing a brew with friends, and the happy hour deals are great! Unfortunately we had eaten before coming out so I was not able to try their food, but I will definitely be back for a second round and will make room to try some ! Great place, definitely recommend checking it out.

The food here was better this visit than the last few before it. I ordered the Extremely Spicy wings and Soy Garlic, which were good, almost Bonchon good Korean wings, I just prefer my wings more cooked. Of course I ordered the Waffle Fries, a friend of mine ordered the Spicy Pork bowl which was pretty fantastic. The server started out great and towards the end, she disappeared… like a lot. We were all staring at each other in disbelief. Nice music, service ok, foods 50/50, not high on my go-to wing spots.

Love this place, especially for Sunday football, as it’s not nearly as busy as some of the surrounding places. Wings are delicious, really like many of their sauces, especially Signature Sweet and Spicy, and their fries are fantastic. Staff is friendly, beer specials are good, ½ price apps during happy hour, plenty of tv’s, and the 6 wings and fries for $ 5 deal is great!

Nachos were pretty sparse considering the price. Basically chips with a couple sprinkles of black beans and cheese. The rest of the food was just ok. Forgot the coleslaw with my burger. Waitress was very inattentive.

Three solid visits and all have excelled in product and service. All visits were during the day. Servers, Rocky & Annie were outstanding! There was also a very nice bartender on one visit too. Forgot her name. My first visit was the perfect spot for some grub after painting next door! Had a group of 6 pre-teen girls &4 adults. We had the girls sit in round corner booth. The $ 30 platter of 20 wings, mozzarella sticks, & fries was PERFECT for them. The display was enticing & they got to choose different wing sauces. I did have to order more fries because one girl took most of them and had to order more mozzarella sticks since 4 came with order. The server, Rocky, was patient, attentive, accommodating & fun! Awesome lunch specials. oh & can’t forget desert. FRIEDOREOS!!! I have tried them at festivals, restaurants, etc… these by far have been the best I have EVER had. 2nd visit — quick solo lunch. Again, consistent in flavor and service. 3rd visit — daughter begged to come after school. Now, she wants her birthday lunch/early dinner here. Surprising for a soon-to-be 12yr old but, she LOVES the food, THATMUCH. Lol Highlights: 3PM-6PM = ½ off apps & drink specials SIGNATURESWEET&SPICY = my daughter’s fav wings SPICYGARLICPARMESAN = w/a side of crazy hot, my fav French Fries = above come with delicious, crisp, & flavorful fries FRIEDOREOS = A MUST! Everyone’s fav! Seriously, a Funnel Cake & Oreo got married and had a baby!!! Still so much more I want to try!

This place has one of the funniest, coolest, weirdest, quirkiest menus I have ever seen. It is like someone that was high and Korean talked with their friends about what would be THE best things to have to eat, during the day, or even better late at night. It made me giggle to see Caesar salad and a salad with raisins and goat cheese, next to wings next to Korean bulgogi, next to fried oreos, next to cole slaw. We asked the waitress about it, and she laughed and said yes, the owners were Korean and they were trying out different meals to see what worked and what didn’t with the crowd. She also said they might be opening a Korean BBQ place in Nofolk, which would be awesome. We went to Peck & Pour randomly as Dirty Buffalo was completely packed and we were desperate for wings and beer. The wings were good, very good even, but I still love Dirty Buffalo’s heat. These were very flavorful though. We tried four flavors, the hot one(not as hot as I would have liked it), the soy ones(yumm), the sweet ones(too sweet for me, but my friend liked them) and the garlic parmesan. While I like hot wings, we both did like the garlic parmesan ones. I washed the wings down with beer(of course) and my friend had a cider. They even let her try a few so that she could get the one she liked most. The pear one was pretty cool actually — I wouldn’t have tried it otherwise so I was thankful for the sample. The service was also very good, despite it being busy. We sat at a high-top table to the left of the restaurant, which feels like a long rectangle that goes back aways. The bar is to the right. There are tvs playing sports throughout, but it did not feel like a sports bar at all. Just a cool, new place to go and eat food you would want if you were a bit tipsy and were with friends. I will definitely be going back to try out the Korean meals when I am in town and looking for a beer with friends.

*****Takeout review***** I was in the mood for wings and Peck & Pour was on my way back to the hotel. Ordering takeout was a breeze, with the gentleman taking my order answering the questions I had. As promised, my wings(which come in 6, 8, or a 10 count and breaded, naked, or boneless) and side of fries(included in the meal) were ready in 15 minutes. The restaurant only had a few patrons when I picked up my food, so I was in and out in a couple minutes. The spicy garlic parmesan wings were pretty good and satisfied my craving. They survived the 10 minute ride to the hotel and remained crispy. Hooray! The wings were breaded well and evenly coated with the garlic parmesan flavor. The only miss was the fact that they were not spicy at all. They were definitely more on the mild side and I wish they packed some more heat when I bit into them. The fries were average and again didn’t arrive soggy. Peck & Pour was a great place to grab some wings. The ample 2 hour parking right outside the restaurant made picking up my takeout easy.

Always a bump for a dog friendly patio. Service here has been consistently fast and friendly. I’ve taken recommendations from the bartenders from their expansive beers on tap and always enjoyed them, so yay for good craft beer and thank you for not being pretentious. And the food is good. Competition is going to be tough here in Ghent, when there are so many great places to eat. Competition is tough just with wing joints here in Norfolk. Dirty Buffalo, Belmont, even Small’s immediately come to mind, but there are a dozen others I’m sure. All that being said, I think they have a place in the restaurant scene. Especially considering they offer soy wings, while not quite as good as Chick n FIsh, wins the contest if it saves me the drive to Newport News to get my fix. Great happy hour deals(half off apps, $ 4 drafts) and the big platters offer a huge amount of food for a great price.

The house made buffalo sauce is very good but it doesn’t taste like a traditional buffalo sauce. It’s also very, very garlicky. I love garlic but if you’re not a fan maybe try a different sauce, they’ve got a few to choose from. The wings were fresh not frozen and they were very well cooked. They have an extensive beer and the lunch specials are cheap. Great spot! Will be back in.

This place was really coo and inviting. I only had some of their craft beers on tap. I hope to come back and try their famous wings and fries! Great name for a beer and wing joint. The bartender was very nice and super knowledgable about the beers that were available. They had a large variety of pumpkin flavored beers due to the fall season.

This is one of Ghent’s newest eateries, having opened in March of this year. Located only a fifteen minute walk away from my apartment, I recently sampled the following items during two separate visits, described as follows on their most current menu: PPCRAZYSPICYWINGS: «Tossed P & P hot spicy sauce with fresh wings. Served with french fries. EXTREMELYHOT.» These wings were a major disappointment in the heat department. On a 10-point scale, with 10 being the hottest, I would rate their heat index to be about a 2. They were anything but«EXTREMELYHOT» as boldly described in caps on their menu. I wanted to feel the fire and enjoy the burn, from the bottom of my throat right up to my eardrums. It didn’t happen. Not even close. In fact, they were far more sweet than hot. The sweetness of the sauce greatly overwhelmed what little bit of heat they delivered. I ordered 10 of these wings, ate half of them, and took the rest home. I used the leftover wings to prepare myself a breakfast of chicken flavored couscous the next morning and added some ghost pepper chili sauce to spice it up. On the positive side, the wings were thick and meaty. If I didn’t have such a hot tooth, I know I would have enjoyed them much more. The french fries were also a disappointment. They were lacking in the seasoning department and were also too soft, failing to deliver the crispy crunchy texture I enjoy. OVERALLRATING: 2 Stars GALBIRICEBOWL: This one is described on their Facebook page as follows: «Short rib marinated in our special P & P sweet soy and stir-fried vegetables over white jasmine rice». I ordered this one as a lunch special at a very decent price of $ 7. Each of their rice bowls, incuding their bulgogi and crazy«hot» chicken, are priced at $ 12 on their dinner menu and also provide the option of brown rice. Overall, I was fairly pleased with this item, which hit the spot on a chilly and rainy afternoon. The vegeteables included onions, carrots, broccoli, and squash, all of which were cooked to a pleasantly crunchy texture. The galbi was pleasant, both flavorful and tender. I would have preferred a little more rice, cooked to a fluffier and drier texture, as it was a tad too moist for my tastes. Desiring a little extra spice, I asked my server if he had some Srirarchi Sauce. He brought some, but only in a tiny plastic container. I much prefer to squeeze my own straight from the bottle. OVERALLRATING: 3.5 Stars The service was very friendly and pleasant during both of my visits, and I have no complaints in this department. The atmosphere was pleasant enough, but I found the lights to be a much too bright during the evening when I ordered my wings, which was about 10:00 p.m. I am unable to comment on their beer selections, for the simple reason that I am not a beer person. I just asked for water instead. When it comes to wings, I can think of two places in Norfolk where the wings are more to my liking. Both of them offer a serious hot and spicy wing variety that brings on the burn and makes my hot tooth sing. I would love to see Peck and Pour follow their example and do the same.

Came in for the Bulgogi and it was delicious! The rice bowl was smaller than expected, they grilled onions, broccoli and carrots to a perfect aldente! I would have liked some more veggies with the meat which is Awesome! The smartmouth tap was a little flat, perhaps someone can check the kegs every day for taste or freshness, their lunch deals are awesome and I’ll be back for my Korean food fix! Bartender was really sweet! Tall gentleman that checked up on us a few times and was really really Nice! Came on a Wednesday around 12:30 parking was ok and there were about five others at the bar so not overly busy! The food is good and worth ur hype! Try the Bulgogi I’ll try the Kalbi when I visit again!

Peck & Pour has awesome wings and a decent selection of craft beers. I’m not really a fan of spicy sauces, so the sweet soy wings are my go-to. Definitely come during happy hour because their small plates/appetizers are half off. I recommended getting a galbi platter or bulgogi platter because that in itself is a meal.

I remember seeing this place when they first started renovating it to PNP. I thought«damn, I could go for some chicken and beer,» but of course, at the time, they were far from being open. So I waited with anticipation, until finally, they opened. To be honest, I walked into this place with low expectations. When we walked in, we sat by the bar at one of the high tables. We were instantly greeted by a waitress and given menus. They had, what I thought, an excellent selection of wings. I really couldn’t decide, so I asked the waitress for her opinion. She said their signature sweet and spicy wings were good, so I took her word and ordered 10 pieces with a side of fries. The food didn’t take too long to arrive, and as soon as I saw it, I knew I had made the right decision. The wings were bigger than expected and the serving of French fries was more than generous; I couldn’t even finish all the fries! It’s also pretty awesome how they mix in waffle fries to your French fries order. The sweet and spicy wings were more sweet than spicy, so if spicy is your thing, don’t get these. They had a good selection of spicy wings, though, so you could always opt for those sauces. After my meal, I was more than satisfied. I will definitely be back for more!
