The MWR office has really improved the on base amenities for Sailors. This new fishing pier is a great spot on base to relax and fish. There is a huge parking lot and a good running trail.

We were transferred here about 7 years ago and have been fishing here off and on since then. Like all places sometimes the fishing is good and sometimes it’s not. Either way it’s a fun and relaxing way to hang with people. You do not need a license to fish from this pier. Pier is free to use You can not have alcoholic beverages on the pier Don’t feed the ferrel cats that live in the rocks Pier is open 24 hours a day There is a cutting table with hose… plus 2 additional hoses on the pier
