I found this business through Unilocal Reviews. Every reviewer was correct about Mr. Mace and his business. I needed 2 panels replaced on the garage door because I had backed into it. I called Mr. Mace and he came right out, gave me an estimate, and then went on to order the panels. Once received, he came by to install them.
Mr. Mace not only gave quick service but the quality of the service was tops. The fee for his services were amazingly reasonable.

My first experience with Mr. Mace was through Angie’s List around five years ago. He contacted me within minutes of an online inquiry regarding replacing a garage door opener. An appointment was set up which he made on time. A variety of openers and pricing was discussed, as well as a timeline. I wanted to get the opener in ASAP! I was so impressed I hired him on the spot.
The higher end opener needed to be ordered which took round two days. My Lift Master opener with key pad and battery back up was put in within three days which I thought was terrific. A new garage door was discussed at that time too, but I was not ready. A brochure was provided of products that he could obtain. No pressure, he just said call me when your ready.
My second interaction with Mr. Mace was last Summer. I provided a referral for friends that needed two new garage doors. I could think of no one better than Mace Garage Doors. Our friends called him and the same scenario played out for them. He came out quickly, gave quotes and provided a high level of service that impressed them so much he was hired. Within a few weeks after they ordered the custom doors installation was complete. Our neighbors were completely thrilled with service and pricing.
Another interaction with Mr. Mace was when I decided to install a new garage door last Fall. He carries Chamberlin which I liked and after looking a different style options and pricing the door was ordered. In less than two weeks I had a fantastic looking door installed. During the same install he assisted me on an interior control pad replacement. The sensor that turns on the garage light was damaged by one of my kids accidentally pushing on it. Due to his relationship with his vendor he was able to get a replacement at no cost.
My final interaction with Mace was recently when the battery back up on my garage door opener needed to be replaced. After five years I guess this mega non standard battery was due to fail. So, I contacted Mr. Mace to walk me through removal and replacement. He picked up his cell like he almost always does, rarely will you get voice mail. Mr. Mace walked me through removal of the battery and options on where to find a replacement. He was spot on with providing the lead that I needed and the battery was replaced.
Four interactions in five years is more than enough to recommend Mace Garage Doors. The fact that he has remained in business for over five years speaks volumes that he is doing it right with business integrity. Prompt, friendly knowledgeable service is not a one time deal with Mace. Expect this type of service on every interaction you have. There are very few businesses that I can honestly say 5+ is more appropriate.

My tenant called me on Saturday morning stating that the garage door would not open. I went to home advisor to find Mr. Mace. When I contacted Mr. Mace and described the problem, he knew right away what the probably problem was. He was able to make it to my rental property the next day (Sunday). He was on point and his diagnosis based on my description over the phone was correct. He is very knowledgable. and courteous. My tenant gave him an A++++ for the quality of his work. I gave him an A++++ for being quick to response & very detailed in what the problem was and how he was going to fix it.

Had a Saturday afternoon garage door casualty when wire cables pulled from spool and door would no longer close.
Called Mace, holding out hope that they would do same-​day work and they did. Michael arrived within an hour, re-​spooled both pulleys with cable and balanced the door, all for only $ 75!
Mace is now our garage door repair and service company of choice!
