Wow! This place has almost everything! I see why my father loved coming here. I can remember tagging along with him as a kid when he would come here to purchase clothing and boots for his job. Today, I came here to grab a few items for my sons who are going camping with the scouts for a week. When I entered the store, I was greeted by a lady who offered to assist me with whatever I was looking for. She was very helpful and was able to quickly locate two of the items that I needed. Unfortunately they didn’t have the electric lanterns that I wanted and they did not have the mosquito nets at the price that I was hoping for. Yet, there were so many cool things to check out here that I definitely plan to return soon.

So much awesomeness here! Wide variety of items from clothes and shoes to bags to camping gear and cast iron cooking gear and more. Service is great and pricing is a real bargain. Definitely worth stopping by, but give yourself plenty of time to take it all in!

This place is a total man cave! I popped into this military surplus store today to pick up some Lodge cast iron cookware. They have everything for outdoors and military gear as well as a few things even a prissy chick like me could appreciate, like pink Chuck Taylors. It pretty much looks like a large garage of man toys. Some, but not much, organization. Watch your step and dress for a little activity: I climbed up some boxes to reach the skillet that I wanted. They definitely have the best and most affordable Lodge cast iron in town. I got a griddle and skillet. The staff is very friendly and you can tell they know their stuff. They will give you your space to shop and look around, but they are happy to help you with any questions or offer you tips.

I only saw half the store! Not that it’s huge, but I’d say it’s slightly larger than standard for a surplus store. When you walk in there’s a display of swords and all manner of miscellany. That’s the half I need to go back for, because I was in a time crunch and on a mission, so I hung a right and headed straight for the coats. And what I found was coats galore, hung on racks that were packed so tightly it was nearly impossible to hang them back up after looking them over and trying them on. And some good prices, too — I don’t remember the last time I saw a pea coat for $ 30. Granted, there were two buttons off(but they were present, zip-tied on) and one of the seams was coming out, but come on, a little needle and thread and you’re back in business, having just saved yourself a bundle of cash. Pea coats, field jackets, officers’ bridge coats, bomber jackets, firefighters’ dress coats, the list goes on and on. And the standard array of other surplus clothing, too; BDU’s, camo shirts, jackets, socks, & hats, I could go on and on but I won’t.
