Leslie Crews knows Kombucha! She makes the very best healthy ‘mocktails’. Gotta try her booch (inside 5 Points Market). Ask her to surprise you… it’s all yummy!

Nestled into the corner of Norfolk farmer’s market is a hidden jewel and refreshing beverage. Kombuchick sounds a bit scary but trust me it is wonderfully delicious. Leslie, the owner, is awesome at crafting her mocktails and drafts. I have come to just let her pick my drink for me. (Go in for happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 to 5.) I love grabbing a four pack when I have to D.D. so I have something fun and non alcoholic to drink at parties. So tasty you’ll forget it’s good for you.

I had never tried kombucha before, but once I saw Leslie’s promo on Livingsocial and reading the wonderful Unilocaler reviews about it, I just had to give it a try! It was a great decision! Thanks all you Unilocaler’s for your reviews!!!
It’s located inside the local farmer’s market off church street in downtown Norfolk, and such a cute setup! The drinks were both creative and tasty, and more then that, kombucha has a lot of health benefits which made it that much more enjoyable!
Leslie is super attentive and wonderfully friendly and fun to chat with as well! We walked away learning a good deal about kombucha, and grateful for having the opportunity to enjoy Leslie’s homemade goodness! Thanks Leslie! Your incredible! This girl is amazing! Her kombucha is delicious and her bar set up at the farmers market is so creative! She set us up with our own scoby too, so fun!

Don’t live around here, but It was quite easy to find the market building on church street. Didn’t purchase any bottles, but tried the Mint Blue Lip. I’d have to say that it was okay though I didn’t love it. Still, I’d go back and try something else.

Okay this rating takes into account how much Kombuchick makes the most of her surroundings. That said, this treasure is nestled away inside the Five Points Community Farmers Market.
Although the small size gives the impression it’s a fly by night the health drink bar that couldn’t be further from the truth. Kombuchick’s creator Leslie, whom I only met when I pulled up to the counter so… don’t think this isn’t some rating by an old friend, started the Kombuchick 4 years ago.
But enough on the history and location let’s talk the kombuca drinks.
Mocktails: Kombuchick serves non-​alcoholic health drinks with a favorable punch.
My wife ordered the Plum Runner, which she described as refreshing drink with a hint of cinnamon and beet. Now, if that doesn’t sound good to you it didn’t for me either BUT it tasted dang good! For me… I settled on the Leslie Sour and wow! It was a healthily lemonade with a kick of spice at the end.
Unfortunately, we didn’t check into the Unilocal App until after paid so it was only then that we noticed the buy one get one free coupon. Rather than use it right away we decided to hold off until our return visit while we moved outside into the courtyard to enjoy the sun. Sitting there my wife and I both admired the home garden of spices planted between the building and seating area. However, it didn’t take long before the sun had me tearing through my lemonade returning to the bar to try the Draft Chai Light Kombucha. That was great too. Definitely a sipping drink that hints of draft beer.
Service: Well the GOOD is that I honestly don’t think it could any better. Leslie was awesome as she kept good conversation explaining her product, store history and general chit chat. The BAD… I’m not sure any staff could be as pleasant and passionate as Leslie is BUT I have confidence she’ll probably find some folks that are close.
Overall: Well let’s see healthily drinks with awesome taste served in a catchy cocktail look with a smile. That equals 5 Stars to me and future trips to the bar.

Kombuchick should open a chain of stores. Leslie knows what her customers want and she knows how to serve it. Looking for something cool and refreshing you will not be disappointed. I was feeling run down so glad I choose Bloody Cayenne kombucha, my body was so thankful.

Running around 5pts market, I love sampling and supporting the small businesses inside. Although kombucha was something I knew nothing about I stopped by. If you have any questions, the service here is super excited to tell you all about it. After some tastings, I went with a kombucha, Jeff had a fruit tea. Stop in and you may find your next favorite drink. At a minimum you’ll find terrific service and some very cool people.
