I was here picking up food for my husband at sakura elite and I decided to try firehouse. I asked for a twelve inch turkey sub with no onions and I dont think the sandwhich maker actually checked to make sure what she was supposed to make instead of getting a turkey sandwhich I got chicken with onions. I didnt realize it until I got home otherwise I would of asked for my money back cause almost ten dollars for a sandwhich I didnt like is ridiculous

I was here doing some Christmas shopping with my family and we came upstairs to grab some dinner. I’m a huge fan of Firehouse Subs. Yes, it’s a chain, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. On the contrary, it’s extremely good! This location inside MacArthur Center Mall seems to be well run and clean. I’ve always received my food promptly and correctly. I’m one of those guys that finds what he likes and then pretty much sticks to it. My favorite sandwich is the Firehouse Hero! Premium roast beef, smoked turkey and Virginia honey ham with lettuce, tomato, onions, deli mustard and a dill pickle on the side! Another thing that makes these sandwiches so phenomenal is the fact that they use Boar’s Head deli meat! I also like the fact that they carry Miss Vickie’s kettle cooked chips. They are a perfect pairing with the sandwich. Firehouse Subs also has a huge touch screen Coke machine that allows you to get like 30 different types of soft drink. You can mix and match like me for unlimited combinations. I prefer half Fanta orange and half Fanta peach. I always prefer to eat in because when you carry those subs with steamed meat for long periods of time the hoagie roll gets soggy and kind of ruins the sandwich for me. I like it fresh off of the line! Go get one!

I stopped by the mall yesterday on my lunch break to run to a couple of stores. While I was there I figured I’d try out the Firehouse Sub’s that’s is the latest edition to the food court up on the third floor. I opted for the ‘Club on a Sub’ combo. The sandwich starts off with turkey breast, Virginia ham, bacon, and melted Jack cheese. Then the regular condiments, lettuce, tomato, etc. on a wheat roll. Rounded off with a bag of chips and a fountain drink. Price came out to about $ 8.50. The sandwich looked as good as good as it tasted. I always appreciate when a restaurant, especially a chain, takes some pride in the way their food is presented instead of just slapping some stuff together. Excellent lunch. I’ll be back to this location without a doubt.

This firehouse subs quality of food might be the worst of all the firehouse subs and I’ve been to! The sub was sloppy and not constructed well. The meatball sub is amazing at most firehouse subs with pepperoni and extra cheese! Oh and dont forget the spicy sauce!
