Thanks so much for your response and corrective actions. It means a lot to me, and I’m sure, many others who normally have such a fantastic experience at your store!

I love this place! My favorite Ice Cream shop. They also make custom chipwhich sandwiches! YES! custom with whatever flavor you want.
The milkshakes are the BOMB! The ice cream cone bowls are soo good too it was very fresh. The workers actually through a ball of ice cream half way across the store (see video).
This location is always my go to for ice cream of great quality!

The ice cream is decent. My milk shake was watery. My biggest complaint is the «whipped topping.» I asked the employee if they had real whipped cream. He said «yes.» I even pointed out that the menu says «whipped topping,» but he insisted that it was cream. It wasn’t. It’s vegetable oil based Rich’s whipped topping. I find it a little sad that an ice cream shop employee doesn’t know the difference.

Great friendly staff that is very patient with kids orders & changes to orders. Very clean.

Quick service, great staff (lots of signs posted regarding new hires & to have patience while they’re building a better team) didn’t notice any newbie mistakes or hold ups in line, I must say the music selection was AWESOME lots of early 2000’s alt/​rock it was nostalgic!

If you’re looking for quality ice cream, this is your place. I much prefer coming here to say Dairy Queen, Cookout, or Sonic because the quality of the creations here (taste and presentation) just can’t be beat. The «Hot Stone» desserts are to die for, especially the «Churro Caramel Crave». The «No Fair Funnel Cake» is a close second. As far as the signature creations go I love to get the «Peanut Butter Cup Perfection». Essentially no matter what I order here it always turns out good. It’s pretty pricey here, but worth every penny.
Every time I come to this location, the staff is nice and friendly, there is rarely a wait, and the establishment is clean. Do come here if you need a spot to satisfy your sweet tooth. I highly recommend it, especially if you have kids they’ll love it too.

With all the froyo places and strawberry fields around now, I’m not that surprised that I’ve lived near this cold stone for 3 years and never tried it. After getting a coupon in the mail for it though, I decided it was finally a time to give it a try.
Appearances weren’t great… there was a big bucket in the middle of the room collecting dripping water from the ceiling, but at least the employee greeted us nicely when we walked in! They still had most flavors left when we got there around 9 and they offered us samples. I appreciated one employee’s…candid…honestly about one of the flavors she didn’t like so much. We ordered the middle size (required by our coupon) and the employee gave us HUGE portions. So much so that they barely fit in the largest bowl meant for the large size. She also hooked us up with a huge amount of topping.
Best of all– she wasn’t sure how to ring up the coupon, so she did a little cash register magic and we ended up paying even less for 2 than we would have for 1! Probably not good for the business end, but awesome for us (and for her tip jar). Almost forgot about the ice cream– I have never been disappointed by the ice cream at any cold stone, and this was no exception! The texture and flavors were perfect and mixing toppings by hand just seals the deal.
Overall: Appearances weren’t the best, but the employee made the experience go beyond expectations. It’s still fairly expensive without a coupon (or an employee that will over discount for you) so I probably wouldn’t come without one, but if you keep your eye out for one in the mail then you will get yourself an awesome deal of great ice cream.

Great CS location– mainly… their jokes. Seriously… what’s better than getting Cold Stone? Also getting a super bad, cheese-​ball joke with it! Yay!

My oldest loves the chocolate with brownies. My youngest has the sweet cream with gummy whatever’s. can’t beat made to order with this quality. Great place.

Not impressed. My mediocre at best ice cream had a lump of stale marshmallows clumped in the middle. Is that mixing? So not worth the price paid. My son s was alright but really have never been impressed over the several trips there.

If I’m craving Cold Stone and in this part of town I go here — it’s in a decent little strip mall and it’s never overly crowded.
The kids inside have always been polite and friendly and the wait has never been too long for me.
I love Cold Stone — their ice cream is soooo creamy and delicious.
My favorite is the banana caramel crunch with vanilla cream ice cream, fresh bananas, almonds and caramel. It’s sooo goooood! The bananas add a little freshness to it and i usually ask them to put a little whipped cream on top. It’s good stuff.
Their ice cream birthday cakes are also good — I like the red velvet with sprinkles and little kit kat pieces on top. YUM!

I went overboard and got the birthday cake, a chocolate dipped waffle bowl, and whipped cream (picture). I wasn’t able to eat it all, but I had a great time trying. The staff was super friendly and my company and I opted to sit outside and people watch. Parking, because of the area, was difficult but not impossible.
Apparently they don’t sing anymore when you tip them?

The best ice cream in the world. I know because I have tried local brands in many countries. You get it the way you want it. And this location even the staff threw my ice cream from the stone to the register. Amazing tricks and they do it all the time. If you want the experience just ask them and they will toss the ice cream. Oh and the ice cream cakes are amazing you even have them custom made the way you want.

A cold stone will always be a cold stone no matter where you are in the country. What makes Norfolk’s stand out? the staff of course! on Any given night you could be walking in to 2 guys tossing a customers delightful creation across the room and SLAM DUNK it’s in the cup. Precision and skills like that doesn’t happen all the time my friends. Give it a go if you’re craving a late night sweet, with an friendly staff like that it keeps us coming back.

I’m a big fan of Cold Stone’s so there is no surprise that I gave it five stars. If you know about Cold Stone’s from other locations, this place is no different. They have the same menu. But for those of you new to Cold Stone’s, they are grrreat.
My personal favorite is the Birthday Cake remix. If you like ice cream cake and chocolate, this is the ice cream for you! There are different ice creams with toppings already chosen for you or you can decide what you want in your ice cream.
The people who work there also are required to sing when you tip them so save your pennies… haha no that’s mean.
