Susan and her staff literally changed my life. I had such anxiety and depression about a medical diagnosis of unexplained infertility for over 3.5 yrs and I just felt like I was at the end of my rope. I was at the crossroad of deciding between huge expenses for more fertility treatments, or take some down time to collect what was left of me after 2 yrs of grueling procedures and disappointments. On my first visit. Susan sat me down and really talked and listened to everything… and there was A LOT… like really dug deep into my emotional side and gave me life changing advice, she poured positive energy into my ways of thinking, and I have to admit we had some fun too! The office is all about you as a person holistically, which is missing in western medicine. I changed my diet, exercise, thoughts, and stress management under Susan’s supervision, while taking my herbs and visited at least once a week at the beginning. It became my «me» time, just to the benefit me so I could gain strength emotionally, physically, and be in a good place to get back on track in life. I never once felt pressured into trying anything I wasn’t comfortable with, and Susan was very knowledgable and easy to talk to if I did have any questions or concerns. The office even refers and hosts stress management classes, breath-​works meditation, and tai-​chi. I became a believer 7 months ago because I’m happy to report I will be welcoming my «acupuncture» baby girl in May. While visiting Norfolk, VA I received some treatments from Susan after I had been going through an extremely stressful time. In two treatments and one day of herbs I went from having almost no energy, extreme fatigue, no motivation, and generally no joy in anything I was doing to feeling «back in my body»! My energy has returned, I am feeling motivated and inspired to do the things I want and need to do. I am so appreciative of Susan’s caring and attention. Her professional knowledge of acupuncture was apparent in how she approached my concerns as well as how I was feeling by the time I left her office (which was very, very centered and focused). Susan is a true healer.

Acupuncture works. I was very unsure whether acupuncture could help me with my low back pain. Turns out, it does. Acupuncture also helped me with my headaches. Susan and her team are professional at all times. Very convenient appointment hours.
