This is the worst place I have ever been in my life. I would rather saw my own arm off with a dull knife than be forced to endure this hellacious experience again. Admittedly, I don’t understand the complexities of urinating into a cup – as this is what this business does, collect urine samples – but I assume that it’s far more complicated than the other 200 drug tests I’ve taken. I feel as if I am guilty of some trespass against my fellow man and this is my punishment – to forever wait in a room with a group of pissed off people all collectively wondering why a 2 hour wait could in any circumstance be deemed acceptable. Do not come here. If your employer recommends that you submit a urine sample here for a drug screen – please offer to pay for one yourself. I am posting this review because I wish someone else had posted it for me to read. STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE.

I found it kind of amusing that I was recently selected for a random drug screen at my workplace. I rarely win anything that’s random, but of course, I was selected to take this mandatory trip to Wellbeings Occupational Clinic which is designated to perform the screenings for our office employees. This was the same location I went to for my pre-employment drug screening. When my supervisor informed me that I was selected for the drug screen on a Thursday afternoon, I decided I would just go the next morning before I went into work. Walk-ins are welcome as appointments are not necessary. Since I had recently moved closer to work, I had originally driven to their other location in Atlanta, 131 Ponce De Leon Avenue, on Friday morning. However, when I arrived around 8:30 am, I realized that they were closed. Fortunately, I saw a woman outside who informed me that they had moved. Although I was annoyed that I had driven the 8+ miles to get there from my apartment, I knew that my employer should have informed me of the correct location to get the screening done. I called this location before I headed over to ensure they were open and sure enough, they were. I also asked about the Atlanta location that had moved. The woman I spoke with informed me that their new Atlanta location only opens on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It would be incredibly helpful if their website was updated to note their new address and that location’s hours for their Atlanta patients/customers. When I arrived at this location around 10 am that Friday morning, there was no one else in the waiting room. I signed into their log sheet, showed my ID, and handed over a form(provided by my employer) with my employer’s information. Since I was the only person in the waiting room, I thought this meant I would go in immediately to get the screening done. However, I still sat and waited for about 15 minutes before I was called in. I won’t get into too many details of getting a drug screen as most people, I’m sure, are familiar with what you need to do. They hand you a plastic cup and tell you the minimum amount you need to fill it with, have you wash your hands before you go into the restroom, and leave your coat and purse right outside. The toilet contains a blue dye, which the employee informed me was there because some people scoop water from the toilet to dilute their urine sample. Oh, the things people will do… Anyway, the drug screen process itself is super quick. Once you hand the cup over, you are instructed to wash your hands and sign the label on the cup’s lid. You also have to electronically sign that you’ve completed the drug screen. The employee told me that the results would be sent to my employer in about 30 minutes, and that I was all set to go. Overall, Wellbeings Occupational Clinic in Norcross gets 4 stars for their fairly quick drug screening and friendly employees. Again, my main suggestion would be for them to update their website to show that their Atlanta location had moved and only opens on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hopefully I won’t have to return again anytime soon, but it’s a fine location with plenty of parking available. [Review 323 of 366]
