This is the official not-really-the-Varsity page made by someone not observant enough to realize that the –actual–«THE Varsity» page already existed as of 7÷3÷07; even as the watered down semi-fake suburbia Norcross/Gwinnett location lacking the great experience of absurdly long lines of sardine-can packed Travel channel zombies inside the original location, waiting 30 minutes just to shout an order and then having to gank someone to get a seat so you have somewhere to sit while eating your addicting crack-filled slaw dogs. So delicious though. Nom nom nom. Find the actual«The Varsity» Gwinnett Unilocal page here. Rating 1⁄5 because this page is like SONNY and iPud and Starbocks Coffee. If you peered down into the source code, you’d probably find a bunch of sketchy Chinese people trying to sell you something that kind of looks real, but mostly makes you lol.

The chili dog was exactly what I remember from the Varsity downtown(which I think is delicious in its own unique way), and the onion rings were BETTER(less greasy, more crispy). Service was great, and of course everything was absolutely correct with it; it came with ample napkins and condiments. .. so this would be a 4-star review, but… I just have to give them 2 stars for the burger. It was LITERALLY the worst burger I’ve had in my life. Seriously, cannot begin to describe the nastiness. I didn’t even eat it. It was like a thin piece of cardboard sandwiched between two buns, with a shit-ton of pickles. It did not qualify as a food product in any way. For those of you keeping score — yes, I ordered a chili dog, onion rings, AND a burger. But I did this knowing that the burgers and dogs at the Varsity are pretty small — and then once I bit into that burger, I was GLAD I had something else to fall back on. LOL. This place is so dead everytime I pass it, I wonder how it stays open. But I’ll go back for a chili dog and onion rings again. They can put their burger back on the ice at the Gwinnett Gladiators game, where it belongs.

Food still good. Sad they so longer carry Greenwood ice cream since it is the very best ice cream in atlanta. You could get flavors at the varsity that were not available anywhere else in town. Mayfield flavors are a sad surprises on the food. chili dogs. hot dogs. onion rings.fries.sodas and we got refills. However we took our grandchildren there and we ended up spending 41 $.we were Shocked at the price. Two senior citizens and one 15year old boy and an eleven year old girl. Too much money for self service and paper everything.
