Very helpful and informative when I need parts for my bikes. I had a mountain bike wheel set built by the Doc himself. After much abuse, it’s still running strong. Also, bought a carbon MTB hard tail frame. The Doctor gave me a great deal on it. He’s very conscientious about his work and will call to make sure you’re fully satisfied with the work or product.

Really knew what they were doing. Bikes are pricey, but compared well to online prices, and the staff was knowledgeable and helped us a lot.

I purchased my Felt ZW3 Disc bike from The Bicycle Doctor back in Sept. 2015. I absolutely love my new bike, because it fits! I am 4’11″ and have had a hard time getting the perfect fit on a road bike. My bike is a women’s XS Petite size frame. I thought I was going to have to go down a wheel size, but Scott took the time and provided me the right fit on his state of the art fit kit. Scott took his time with me and we looked at all options. I would recommend spending the money for the bike fit even if you don’t buy a bike there. There ARE options out there for us short/petite women now! I just rolled 1000 miles on my bike and I couldn’t be happier. I am constantly complimented on how pretty my bike is too. Great customer service! Thank you Scott! Go see the Bicycle Doctor!

This place is great. Easily the most honest and the technically savvy bike technician in the Atlanta area. Without a second thought, I drive 14 miles in order to take my bike here.

The real deal. There is no hustle here. They know their stuff inside out. When you walk in, you get the best advice and no subterfuge. I went in for a used bike, to use as primary transportation as I don’t drive. Kurtis sold me one for about $ 200, explaining the technical aspects of choosing a bike. I’ve had it for a month and I put 150 miles on it. No trouble at all! I’m a very rough rider, weighing in at 200lbs. The assembly is super tough and handles all I throw at it. All the accessories and merchandise are top quality too. None of that mass produced junk that the big box stores peddle. I had a bike which I bought brand new before from ****** for about $ 150 which fell apart in 3 days. I even bought coverage on it and they refused to help me. The Doctor won my business without even breaking a sweat. Highly recommend.

I was in the market for a mountain bike, and tried larger chain stores, with not much luck. I found the Bicycle Doctor’s website, featuring a few really good deals, so I thought i’d head on in. When I drove to the place and found the small shop, I smiled at the store you could drive right past if you weren’t paying attention. When I got inside, unfortunately the bike I wanted wasn’t their, but another equally great bike was, and for roughly the same price. Scott helped me out, really took the time to answer all the questions of a guy who hadn’t ridden a bike since trying to get home from elementary school, and not only let me test drive the bike, but kept making minor adjustments so that my seat was properly raised, etc as he watched me ride. I appreciate that greatly, loved not being rushed, and the experience that the Bicycle doctors have seems second to none. Bikes are really all the Bicycle Doctor’s do, which is great. Each wall is covered with accessories from bike pumps, helmets, tool kits to car racks, if it involves a bike, they probably have it, or can get it. Good people. Solid shop.

Great bike shop, lots of inventory, if you need something for your bike go there first, you will save time because they probably have what you need. They have a wide range of bikes form entry level to top of the line. Scott will even build a custom bike for you to your specs. Bicycle Doctor is one of the best bike shops in all of Georgia. Not a fancy shop on the outside but don’t be fooled, this shop is growing fast and the staff is top notch. They stand behind their work too, I have had several good experiences over the last several years of bringing my bikes to this shop.

Scott and his team are fantastic! They have great customer service and a wealth of knowledge. They have been helpful every time I’ve called &/or walked into the store. They keep my «bella»(a beautiful Cannondale) up and running great for triathlons!

I fully expected to drop my bike off for some brake and wheel work. They fixed it on the spot and it was only $ 15. I have definitely found my bike shop of choice!

A few weeks ago I visited Lilburn, GA from home(Durham, NC). Bike developed major chain skip and horrible shifting problems despite new chain and cassette. Bicycle Doctor fixed this. Bike now shifts better than the day I bought it new. Whenever possible in the future, I will defer repair items until I can visit Bicycle Doctor. This is simply the very best bike repair facility I’ve ever encountered. I am now shopping for a used carbon bike. When I get one, Bicycle Doctor will be its first stop, probably before I ride it very much. I will have them do whatever they feel is right. I trust these guys!!!

I was very pleased with my first visit to the Bicycle Doctor last week. Curtis was very personable & helpful, and was willing to do a very small job(putting a trailer hitch on my bike) for an amazingly low price. Plus, I got to the shop just before 7, and Curtis was kind enough to help me install my bike rack on my car which I had never used before, and gave me several tips on the best way to install it. Will definitely be going back.

Scott and his team here at Bicycle Doctor are great. He keeps a ton of parts in stock. Also lots of brand new bikes from great manufacturers. Bicycle Doc has greatly reduced my wait time for a much needed fix multiple times, whether it’s a bottom bracket, a singlespeed conversion kit, or something a bit more rare. Mountain/Road/CX he has you covered. Need a tune up? Give these guys a shout… If he doesn’t have it, he can get it, fast! My only complaint is sometimes the shop cat«Sprocket» bullies me a bit, but otherwise this place rocks ;)

If you see it as «a local bike shop», well, deserve the 5 star. They call their business«The Bicycle doctor», Usually doctors are those people know about anatomy and physiology of human body. To me being a doctor for bicycles, sounds like being Pro in mechanical term of the Bicycles… The shop is small, staffs are friendly, is not hard to find the store(which I honestly don’t like the location) As local bike shop, I expected to sell normal(childish) items/bikes/components to sell! But they have bunch of road bikes and saw 2 or 3 «triathlon bike»(felt/litespeed) which was rare to be in a local bike shop. Well, story began weeks ago, my friend’s daughter wanted to race in a group, she had a city mountain bike, and the race required to have pro road racing bike… I gave my «Trek» to her to race, she raced and gave it back to me. I cleaned, lube, and after a week thought to use that bike again… I went to rockmart by silver comet and noticed something is wrong to change my gear!!? I took it to «The Bicycle doctor» to see what’s wrong with it, the guy take a looked at it said: «I need to spray lubrication fluid inside the shifter!» I said I did! He said: «No, you need to Spay inside!!!»… Ok…, He took it to the mechanic and sprayed inside my shifter… I didn’t use that bike for about 2 weeks. When I’m going too far alone, I use that bike. Well, I took that again to a 50 miles ride alone, and I noticed the gear still doesn’t work!?? I was so confused… I checked everything(except the dérailleur)… I took it to the another shop and a young mechanic saw it said«couples of your gear is locked!?» I said: I didn’t lock that!” (I thought something was wrong with my shifter!) Well, I didn’t know in some ages, racing, required to lock some speeds!!? Well, I just took that back unlock the speed I was missing, then I was thinking about«a local bike shop, which couldn’t notice a problem between a shifter and a derailleurs… Knowledge is a power… Conclusion: I love those people, why? Because they love bikes and they pushing the neighbors and society use bicycles more often. If you are professional cyclist or tri(specially if you using 4/5k bike) I recommend, «Podium Multi sport» or «Atlanta cycling club». However, you going to experience to meet a lot of amateur stores around which doesn’t make them bad in the job they do…(Bad experience happening in everywhere) may be you go spend 8k tri bike from famous bike shop in town but they may have problem to adjust a fitting term on your bike they tried to sell. Or you see a huge company that promoting for triathlon races and their mechanic don’t really know how to change a chain(which sounds stupid) but happen a lot to me because bikes are looks simple structure but they deeply very complicated. Good luck everyone with your journey:)

Best in Gwinnett by a long mile. I worked in a shop for 10 years before moving to Atlanta and this is by far the best in town. Scott and his staff will bend over backwards to make you happy. Shop is a little off the beaten path but well worth it once you get there. Good selection of bikes, frames, etc, plus friendly, knowledgeable staff – these guys really know their stuff. I’ve had them perform some stuff in the shop that most places don’t even have the tools to do, much less the know-how. Don’t bother looking anywhere else – you’ll eventually come back to Bicycle Doctor.

A hidden gem of a shop. The Bicycle Doctor has helped me with bike repairs for over 20 years. I have complete trust in Scott and his team to do the job right. They clearly explain things up front before the work is done and deliver as promised. There’s no «attitude» at this shop which is well-stocked and tucked away on a quiet street.

I’ve being going to the Bicycle Doctor for years – it’s the only place I’ll bring my bike for service. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and my bike has stayed in top shape with their help. Can’t recommend them highly enough – in fact, even though I’ve moved I drive out of my way and past numerous other bike stores to use them.

Scott and crew are first rate. Been using them for several years 1st as maintenance on my race bike and then for 2 builds. More than once I have dropped my bike off on a Monday of race week or stopped by on way out of town for a race and Bicycle Doctor has taken care of me. Saved my weekend plans. I always get a fair and accurate quote and work done on schedule or ahead of time. Never had a problem dropping back by for a quick follow adjustment or question.

Five stars for Scott and The Bicycle Doctor! I’ve had my Cannondale Mountain Bike in there for many small repairs and tune-ups, and the prices and quality of work are superior. However, it wasn’t until I took a beat up old entry level Diamond Back mountain bike frame and a bunch of mediocre parts to Scott, and asked him to build a single speed out of my junk pile, that I realized what a talent he is. He had the frame cleaned up and powder coated, then built the single speed exactly like I wanted. There were some new parts needed, but the bill was suprisingly low even with the out-sourced paint job. I am thrilled with the out come. Scott knows his stuff!

This place may be a little out of the way but is one of the best bike shops around Atlanta. Scott(the shop owner) does a good job of bike repair at reasonable prices and treats the customer like a friend. Although they cater to serious cycling enthusiasts and there were many high end bikes costing thousands of dollars in there, I did not get any snobby attitude(unlike the other shops). My 2nd hand walmart bike was fixed, and on a student budget.
