Sonic Drive-In

Terrible service, make u wait long and the workers are rude. Tell u to wait and make u waste ur time. The manager is suppose to talk to me but waited till all the other customers were gone. Just getting my free food that they messed up and they will no longer have me as a customer.

Went to this Sonic Sunday 11÷29÷15 at 5pm. It took me 20 minutes to get the crappiest Molten Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae and a cup of ice cream! The employee took my order at the drive thru, then had to come outside to get my order again. He told me they had a couple of people quit and there were only about 3 people there working. And they did a great job for 3 employees handling the whole store. My complaint is where was the manager? Isn’t the manager the one who is responsible for covering shifts? Lousy management Sonic!

Today I decided to get the asiago Caesar chicken sandwich which honestly looked on the menu a lot better than it did it in person and the taste, the taste was by far not delicious at all. I was pulled in by the whole-​grain ciabatta bun, But that was the only real thing it had going for it’s self. I ate about half of it due to the hunger but I threw the rest away

We love Sonic, but the wait time is beyond ridiculous. Every time we come, we have to make sure we have an extra 20 minutes to spare between ordering and getting our order. Terrible. We come here often and unfortunately there isn’t a closer location. Today, we waited 7 minutes in the drive through behind another car and they opened the door to tell us that their order hadn’t even been taken yet. So we pulled around to order at the drive in and sat for another 15 without our order being taken. I will not be back. This was the last straw. This location has lost our business and our family stops here multiple times a week for slushes and food during the summer. I tried to call the location to speak to a manager. No surprise to me, no one answered.

Service was friendly after the order. Food ok. Strawberry lemonade was more like water with strawberries. Card reader screwed up. Speaker screwed up. And I can’t stand when the interrupt me while I’m ordering.

SonIc is perfect for my pregnancy cravings… server was friendly. Pretty fast service… Will definitely have to keep my distance from this place as I get further along… so yummy!

Food is okay. We’ve been trying the milkshakes. They are too thick for me, I have to let it sit for a bit to even drink it with the straw. A few of the shakes with toppings are impossible to drink because the toppings are too big to go through the straw. My main complaint is the service, especially on the night shift. This is the closest Sonic to our house so my husband and I visit often. We have gone a few times and every time we were disappointed in the service but we shoved it off thinking we were expecting too much. Tonight was the last straw… We stopped by for half price shakes. We waited for about 5 min in the drive thru before our order was taken. There was another customer in front of us who was waiting but no one would answer so they drove away. We pulled up and we were able to order. We waited 5 min at the window area. We had somewhere to be so my husband tapped on the window to see how much longer it would it take. He was told 5 more min. We waited the 5 and asked again, this time it was 2 more min. After the 2 minutes we were considering leaving so we asked the person how much longer or we’ll need to cancel. We were told if you have a milkshake in your order it will 35 more minutes before you can get it! No apology for the waiting. His excuse was they only have 2 people making shakes and they had 40 shakes to make. Then the employee had the nerve to say to my husband, «if you don’t want to wait for the shakes you might as well get the f*** out of here, you know what I’m saying man?» I understand if you are busy but there were maybe 4 cars outside and they were being served. AND if you had that many why didn’t you let us know before we ordered and waited??? Save yourself the grief. Worst Sonic ever.

I was just waiting to get my family a meal at sonic as a treat because I have always liked the food. This time my experience was probably my last. My order was totally wrong, I ordered a plain double cheeseburger meal, two cheeseburger meal no tomatoes and a kids grill cheese. All of my meals came fully loaded with everything. I drove 10 miles home to discover this. So I called the restaurant multiple times no answer. Had to go another restaurant very disappoint. Id # 438 207 270 317

Ok so I’ve always had great service at this particular sonic. Now honestly… I don’t go to Sonic’s for the food. Well… I will grab a corndog or chili cheese footlong on occasion… and tater tots… but let’s get to business. I come here for drinks. Create your own drink sensation or go with the norm. As they advertise… the drink possibilities are endless. I love going during happy hour 2 – 4 when drinks and slushes are half off. You can also catch specials (like this summer large drinks are 0.79 all day at this location). I’m a cranberry limeade girl myself although I do love the shakes and slushes as well. If you’re particular dehydrated… roll through, hang out in your car, and treat yourself to a refreshing beverage of your liking.

Never get the order right, they are always running out of stuff. Rude management, rude staff, they seem like they hate their jobs… I hate going here and I go out of my way to make sure I don’t come here.
And just me I have given this place many many chances. The food is always too greasy.
And it tastes like they don’t change the grease traps.
Don’t come here for the convenience of the location. Go out of your way! Trust me on this…

«For what it is» … Sonic is a tasty, if calorie-​laden choice in this busy Jimmy Carter blvd.-traffic area.
I’ve been aware of this Sonic location for years but never had a need to stop here … except now, that I have been consistently working in the vicinity.
Sonic is famous for continuing the «drive-​in» restaurant format made famous in the 1950’s … occasionally Sonic will even have a car hop/​waitress on roller skates, even at 7:30 a.m. which seems even more daunting of an hour to put wheels on your feet instead of under them … but I digress…
Sonic’s menu veers off a bit of the typical fast food restaurant. Unlike the current «healthy» trends being dished out at McDonalds with smoothies and salads, Sonic is unabashedly high-​calorie.
Sonic features various versions of hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken sandwiches. They do fries and onion rings and tater tots for a change of pace in the fried potato department. The fried chicken on their sandwiches is rather good. Sonic seems to ‘fry’ and ‘grill’ a lot, but not in a healthy way.
An interesting feature is Breakfast All Day and the breakfast items I’ve tried (in the morning) are definitely some tasty calorie-​heavy munchies.
They do a good job with their basic Breakfast Burrito. It’s more expensive than the arches version but much larger as well.
An excellent choice is their Toaster sandwich. That’s egg, cheese and bacon (or sausage) on grilled texas toast bread. It’s like a huge, gooey, filling grilled cheese with egg and stuff. Big Yum!
Besides the numerous ‘drive-​in’ spots that you can park and order at, there is a ‘drive-​thru’ squawk box and some covered picnic tables out front that have microphones that allow you to order and have your brought out.
All of Sonic’s food are «packaged to go» when I asked for my items «to go.» (Is that a tip?)
Sonic is currently featuring a ‘pretzel’ hotdog bun. The one with just mustard is pretty good.

Foods always Sonic Standard. Service Is Either with a Smile or With attitude. Good luck on which on you get.

why oh why do I stop at this place after it’s let me down so many times. When I see the commercials on TV it looks so good but when I get here not so much. My fries and Tots are usually full of grease the only good thing I can count on are the drinks.

Pretty long wait during a not busy time for a soda. No doubt they can do better.

Worst Service Ever!!! They employ a bunch of young snobby teens who dont know how to talk to customers. If i ask you about a dessert I ordered here before you dont respond by say
«Oh I never heard of that, just get something else»
And the second Visit my girl got a melted banana split. It looked like somebody left in in the car all day.
Too bad there are’nt any other Sonic near me… I think i will survive without any at all

There weren’t any Sonic Burgers near me when I lived in the LBC, but I wanted to try them because I thought the commercials were kind of cool. Yes, the marketing got to me. However, not so much that I was going to travel to the OC. Now that there is a Sonic burger joint down the street, I just had to try it. I saw the footlong ‘Coney” on the website and the thought of a savory chili dog made my mouth water.
Alas, I did not get a savory chili dog from Sonic. It was like jail food. And though Der Weinersnitzel back home has hot dogs just as bad, I’d gladly take one of their mustard dogs over this mess. I also got a Lime-​aid soda which I though would be a decadent sneak (since I am not supposed to imbibe HFCS) Blech! Even though it had lime slices in it, it tasted nothing like lime. I pour it in Daisy’s bowl. She sniffed, she lapped twice, she went back to her ball.
So all in all my curiosity was satisfied, and not in a good way. I did like the concept of not having to get out of your car. Bringing your food out to you? That is the least they can do for this sad, sorry crap.
