Piano Tuning Atlanta – by Charity

I returned to my dad’s house after a lengthy voyage in the distant land of Los Angeles, CA, to find a piano that has fallen into disrepair. To say it needed tuning is an understatement. My ears hurt every time I tried playing.
I shopped around briefly and decided on Charity due to the proximity to my house. Charity’s business is a terrific example of a charming family-​run business. She learned her craft from her dad and has been working on pianos since she was 12. She quoted a very competitive price and we set up an appointment. Today, she kept the appointment and worked very diligently.
Charity kept me in the loop the entire time, making sure to always explain what was wrong and what she was doing. She helped pull out a color pencil that my adorably-​annoying-​at-​times little brother got stuck in the piano. After a few hours, the piano was working almost perfectly. Incredible, considering the lack of care that it has seen.
5 stars — what more can I say or needs to be said? Charity is a consummate professional. She does the job well and charges a competitive rate. I’ll probably continue calling her for piano maintenance, and I recommend everybody else to give her a try.

My piano was in dire need: after only a year I was suffering through squeaky keys, squeaky damper pedal, and it being so out of tune that the dog wouldn’t even howl along — she just ran away.
I called the people who originally moved and tuned my piano, only to find their prices had nearly doubled! One quick call and I was scheduled for a visit only a few days later.
Charity arrived right on time and didn’t waste a second getting to work. She is such a perfectionist, and so dedicated and diligent in her work. I left her to it, sat in the kitchen working on my laptop. When she had a question or ran into a quirk, she alerted me to what was going on and why. Since I am no concert pianist, I wasn’t looking for ultimate perfection. Good enough is good enough for me. But no, Charity would not have it — going so far as to pull out parts of my piano that I didn’t even know were parts so she could oil them and put them to rights.
If you want someone who really knows what they are doing, really takes the time and care to do the right things the right away, and charge a reasonable amount — this is the woman to call. She really took her time, and I can already tell a difference. I will most certainly be calling her again next year for a tune-​up.

Charity visited my home today to time my neglected piano. She did a fantastic job!!! She explained what she was doing and why. She offered numerous suggestions on how I can keep the piano in tune and she only made the repairs she felt were necessary at this time. I will continue to have her tune my piano and I recommend her to anyone who needs a professional an reliable piano tuner!
