Peachtree Emergency Water Removal

Peachtree Emergency Water Removal charged me $ 1800 to remove some water from my crawlspace with fans and a dehumidifier. When I noticed the dehumidifier wasn’t working I called them twice but never got a call back. A good portion of my payment was for a working commercial dehumidifier. Since I’ve never gotten a call back I have not received any offers for a discount or refund.
I also paid for a layer of plastic to be put over the dirt in my crawl space. They also failed to do this work as agreed.

When you have a home emergency, you hope that those you hire to help will be honest, straightforward, and transparent in their business practices. This was not the case with this company. I paid a large sum of money for a job that included remediation of water damage and repair. No repairs were completed, however. When I expressed to the sales agent that he wasn’t clear about the repairs in our initial meeting, he simply placed the blame on me and handled the situation in a way that most customer service focused companies would not tolerate. This was my first negative experience with a company of this sort, and while I hope I never need this type of service again, I would not choose nor recommend this company to provide it.
