UPDATE4÷7÷2010 — ***** CLOSED :(***** Fufu and goat soup — Excellent. Fried Plantains — Great. Oxtails and rice– Good but not very meaty. Ribs rice– They were good but VERY spare so beware. More updates to follow: For anyone curious about food from Africa, this restaurant will give you a very good introduction to some of the staples found accross the pond. i have been to a couple of Ghanaian and Nigerian restaurants in Atlanta, but mostly they exist south and west of Atlanta. Nadia’s is great for any Gwinnitians that have been jonesing for some African food and dont feel like driving to the airport to get it. Thus far I havent tried too much rom the menu, but I will be updating this review as I try more dishes in the future.

Very unique options from a region you will not find many concepts offering. Really enjoyed the spicy fried fish entrée.

West African food. Lunch prices are okay(around $ 7). Dinner prices would be $ 9 to $ 13. It’s clean inside. It’s a small space, so large groups wouldn’t work. Also the place only had one woman working, so she rang up the orders and cooked. I went during lunch and got a special. I ordered poorly. I guess I was looking for something more ethnic. My fish was overly fried(just a regular Tilapia fillet you could get at the frozen food section of a grocery store). The spicy sauce, the server warned me about, made me sweat the entire time. Hot! She did give me more plantains than other restaurants. I think the dinner menu would have been better, and I’m willing to try it again. The menu boasted of a homemade ginger beer that I wanted to order, but they didn’t offer it that day.
