Chips and salsa and really good. We tried the three eggs combo and it was really good too.

First time eating here. The food and customer service was outstanding. My friend and I shared chicken fajitas for two, I was shocked at how large the portion size was. Will definitely be coming here more often.

Good food and great service. Finally a Mexican wait staff with a quick wit and attentive to their customers. Basic décor… nothing fancy. Thanks guys for making dinner fun.

Very friendly service. We had a party of 20 and they were gracious enough to combine tables. Serve us at different times. Waiter even took pictures of our group and joked around with everyone. Tell them you have a birthday and they bring out the sombrero and song. Food. I got the chicken fajitas for two. Big portions! Tasty char to the fajitas and flavoring. They do put some type of tomato sauce on too which is unique to most fajitas. Better alternative to frontera type places. But definitely not a super authentic mexican place.

Foods super quality! Managers super nice, yet cleaned up the mistakes people under him made, we came with family and we’re all taking, given the restaurant was loud, the lady with the food came to he table and yelled«guys listen!» Like seriously? Bad day?! Then when they got one of our orders wrong with chicken we asked to take it back for beef and the waiter keep asking about 5 times«you don’t like chicken? You ordered chicken» Implying it wasn’t her fault, yet it was and even if it wasn’t she should have taken it back anyway! She took the food in an abrupt fashion and stormed to the kitchen, the manager politely came back couple minutes later and said your food will be right out sorry for the mistake. Oh and one last thing: made a reservation and came in and they said yep tables right there and we sat ourselves…

We have visited Lupitas 5 times recently and each time has been consistently good. Everything that each of us has had has been good. The wait staff is friendly and attentive and the menu is good. We have been disappointed with this style of Mexican restaurant for several years now not able to find one that put check marks in all the boxes but Lupitas does. If you are looking for a charming little non-chain Mexican restaurant look no further.

Foods is ok. Chips are kinda oily but salsa is good. Lots of veggies on the plates, which is good. Service is excellent and attentive, though music was a bit too loud. Interesting tilework in restrooms.

Amazing customer service! The food was extremely good. I thoroughly enjoyed how clean and fast the service was. I had the fish tacos and a piña colada. It was so much food I was stuffed and I took home enough to make another meal. I will definitely be back.

Mediocre food, mediocre ambiance, attentive staff — these are the reasons why I’m giving Lupita’s 3 stars. I came here due to finding a scoutmob deal for 50% off my entire meal. Didn’t really have any expectations for the place, but I can say it’s not bad. If you’re looking for a quick and decent Mexican experience, then Lupita’s is not a bad place to spend your evening. Overall 3⁄5.

**So, I went on a bit of a taco tour y’all! I got the idea from the folks over at Buzzfeed which is seemingly the most fun place to work on the planet! A group of Buzz-feeders decided to go on a tour around their city eating their weight in tacos. It made me so hungry for tacos that I decided to do the same thing. Of course I started on Unilocal and visited some of the highest rated Taquerias around the city. Yum! This was an assignment I could really sink my teeth into and it’s inspired me to do this every so often, experimenting with various genres and specific dishes. If anyone wants to join me, just let me know! :) ** Tried this place hoping it would be another great stop on my taco tour but I was very disappointed. From the moment we walked in something was«off» about it for me. It literally didn’t spell right… it smelled like the bathroom had exploded and they threw a bottle of pinesol on it in an effort to mask the scent. I don’t know, it was super weird. I tried to place my order but I felt a bit of pushback from the waiter, I didn’t like his attitude and the way he spoke to my wife and I… again…weird. He even tried to get me to change my order, telling me I didn’t really want what I thought I wanted. Hmm.okay. He bought us some chips and queso that was meh… okay…however, the chips were cold which, to me, made me think they weren’t fresh and had possibly come off a previous person’s table. Beware, the food is not authentic Mexican either. Yeah, I know it’s technically«Tex-Mex» but I could barely detect any Mex. They didn’t have street tacos and they tacos they did have were not good at all. I also ordered a tostada and something else(I don’t remember) but they brought me TWO tostadas. The tostadas were really soggy and tasteless, didn’t even finish them. The margaritas were watered down as well. The whole experience felt like a waste of money, could’ve eaten McDonald’s and enjoyed a better meal.

My friend used to work nearby and always raved about this place so I had to try it for myself. It has all of your standard Mexican fixings and the décor is cute. I ordered a Peach Margarita and the La Parrillada. The dish came with chorizo, chicken, shrimp and peppers and onions on a griddle. It was served with tortillas, guacamole, sour cream, and rice and beans. You also get chips and salsa delivered to your table. I read a review about the drinks being very strong but either I have a very high tolerance from drinking grain alcohol in college or the Margarita was super weak. The dish I ordered was also very salty. The best part about the meal was the salsa, it had a wonderful spice to it. I would give it another chance if I were in the area.

Lupita’s was a nice surprise since I thought I was in a desert of food places to eat near Indian Trails and Beaver Ruin. One of my friends used to frequent here and suggested it when we were looking for a place to eat on a Saturday. Lunch specials during the week also apply on the weekend. I ordered«La Changa.» Basically, it’s a chicken and refried bean burrito, wrapped in a flour tortilla and covered with a cheese sauce. Perfect. This hit the spot because I wanted some cheese but not enough to justify an app order of queso. There’s a side of lettuce and guac so I didn’t feel completely unhealthy. I like how this restaurant feels clean and service is great. Free chips and salsa, everyone’s just hanging out. I’m a fan. I don’t find myself out here in Norcross too often, but I’ll keep Lupita’s on my radar.

I’ve been coming here for lunch the last 20+ years. The service knows our standard orders, and they’re delivered QHT… quick, hot & tasty. I know that one waiter has served us for at least 15 years. My favorites are the Speedy Plate(Never trust a Mexican Restaurant that doesn’t offer a Speedy Plate) and the chicken burrito. Try the Taco Salad or the Quesadilla, both are wonderful. I hope that Lupita’s is here another 20 years.

This was an ok spot for a quick bite of Mexican food. I had the chilaquiles, but would probably order something different if I were to visit again. My son’s taco looked like it would have been tasty. Dinner was quick and affordable. Portions were large. The place was hopping on the early Friday evening we visited, and from the Unilocal reviews, it clearly has lots of fans.

On the weekends you can find me searching for the best margaritas. Whether on the rocks, virgin or frozen I’m on the lookout. A friend told me to try Lupita’s and of course I came to Unilocal to read the reviews first. Reviews seemed good enough so we ventured here after work on Saturday. They even had a little red Unilocal sticker on the front door. Cute. I was excited to see that they had Margaronas and of course we had to try one. We ordered one 24 oz frozen mango and one 24 oz frozen strawberry and the flavors were present and strong and might I add very delicious. We received complimentary chips and salsa that we devoured quickly and I decided to order some enchiladas to go along with the drinks. The waitress actually recommended the flour tortillas over the corn. Me being me I decided to go against the grain and order a tortilla and a corn. The waitress was spot on. I did not like the corn enchilada one bit. I tried two bites and could not eat anymore. I’m not one for sugar coating so I will just say it was nasty. It was a weird taste, one that I simply can’t explain. The flour enchilada was delicious. The employees were nice and courteous. I definitely plan on returning especially for the Margaronas and to try a different dish. The décor in the restaurant was so cute and I loved the vibe. The set up for the women’s bathroom was cramped and crazy. I would recommend only 1 at a time even though there are 2 stalls. A kid was celebrating their birthday there and the workers came out and sang happy birthdays and gave her a dessert. I thought that was too cute.

I don’t often go out and eat Mexican food because honestly I can make tacos at home and don’t think about it. However, I promised to take my daughter for dinner at an authentic Mexican restaurants. Most of her friends at school are Latinos and she wanted the experience of eating outside of my infamous cooking. It shouldn’t be that hard, right? With many options in a heavy Latino community. After searching on Unilocal for an authentic Mexican restaurant, I came across Lupita’s. What attractive me is not only the authenticity that is said many times in the reviews but the name. I took Spanish for six years(and I cannot speak it) and Lupita was my Spanish name lol. We got to Lupita’s around 5ish on a Friday. It’s at the corner of Indian Trail and Beaver Ruin Road in Norcross across the street from Lowe’s. While walking in the restaurant, we were greeted with bubbly people and got seated at a booth right away. The restaurant is bigger than I thought with a bar on the other side slightly separated by a wall. The crowd is anywhere from a well dress homecoming party to an office party happy hour to a family of four having dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive. One of the best I’ve ever encounter. The waitors are very well knowledge and outgoing. They are all Latino too, if anyone cares for the tidbit. We got water, chips, and salsa right away. OMG, it was so good, it was still hot and the salsa is one of the best. We got pollo pablano(chicken with pablano peppers, dish actually came with yummy rice and broccoli with cheese) and tres amigos(literally means three friends but it has three meats — shrimp, chicken, & steak). We got the dishes really quickly. So yummy, finger licking good with the right amount of spiciness and loaded with yummy cheese. I was so stuff too. I cannot wait to go back and try more dishes. Oh yeah, free Wi-Fi too. This worked out cause I reached my data so connection was super slow lol
