I used to work over in this neck of the woods, so Los Arcos was a regular spot for me. Loved it. I don’t know if in the past 4 years it’s gone downhill or if I’ve just eaten enough good Mexican food to see this Crapville for what it is. Ok, so Crapville might be a lil harsh. It wasn’t inedible. The chips sucked(I still ate a bunch), the salsa was decent, my lunch — La Botana, which is one of the low-carb options consisting of fajita chicken, steak and shrimp on a plate with small cubes of cheese, avocados and jalapenos, was exactly what I expected… just not great. Nothing I wanted more of. Like another reviewer said — I felt like the service was such that they were trying to get us out of there faster and it wasn’t nearly as busy at lunch as I remember it being back in the day. Plenty of empty tables. I also thought it was fairly odd and a little off-putting the way our server brought our diet coke refills in one glass… then proceeded to pour half of it into each of our glasses. Weird, I say. Just weird. All in all a sad reunion with one of my favorite old lunch spots.

Good food. Service was also good even though they were short handed. This is a nice place for lunch. The only down side is that businesses are closing in the shopping center.

Came to Los Arcos for lunch with a coworker and his wife since she likes this place and I was pleasantly surprised at how large the place was. I have a tendency to stare forever at Mexican restaurant menus because every item starts sounding the same but today, my eyes were immediately drawn to a «Low-Carb!» bubble on the lunch menu. I ordered the burrito wrap with beef without hesitation and requested the low-carb tortilla(as it said I could). The burrito wrap came by itself with a side of 3 orange slices. As for the burrito, it was 2⁄3 delicious steak strips cooked just right, 1⁄3 lettuce, and a light sprinkling of white cheese. Yes, you read that right, there was NO rice or beans IN my burrito and none on the side either, yay! All in all: + less than $ 7 for an all-meat STEAK burrito + the only Mexican restaurant I’ve ever seen to have a low-carb option + tasty! + quick service + split our checks quickly at the register My only complaint is that the cheese dip was super plain and the chips were hard(rather than crispy). However, i would imagine the cheese dip with jalapenos, beef, or beans would be tastier… it was our own fault for ordering it plain.

My food came quickly… but it lacked that feeling of quality. I’m pretty sure a microwave was in use based on the way the food was served to me(plate scolding hot) and that it tasted mushy. My chips and salsa were cold My waiter was so eager to help me that I felt I was being rushed out the door. I didn’t hate my experience there, but it won’t be a «go-to»

If you’re looking for a good Mexican restaurant in the Norcross area(near the Forum), Los Arcos is a good choice. There are at least a few in the area, haven’t been to all of them, but out of the few I’ve been to, I’d say Los Arcos is a keeper. Between my friend and me, we had a fajita burrito and a vegetarian burrito, split them both so we each had half of each. So I got to try two dishes in one outing, and they were both tasty. The service was fine. And the price was cheap, less than $ 20. The chips and salsa were okay, I’m sure I’ve had others elsewhere that were better, but maybe that was because they were«worse» in other ways(oily/salty chips). Anyway, the chips and salsa were good enough, but it was especially our main dishes that were a good success. Note: Los Arcos means«the arcs». I’m not sure if that’s supposed to be a play on the«Golden Arches», but I doubt it.

I had a chance to eat lunch here today — the service was very good but the food only so-so. There’s much better Mex fare, but Los Arcos was close to work(and right next to the Good Will where I managed to score a couple of items). It took a bit longer to get in and out of here than I like, especially since I was by myself and pretty much ordered as soon as I sat down. I had the chicken fajitas(lunch portion) with a soda(needed the caffeine) — total was a bit over 10 bucks, so the pricing was only average. The salsa was only slight punched up, the chips a bit inferior. The fajitas were average — all around I thought the meal average. It won’t stop me from coming here again due to convenience, but of all the places to eat in the shopping center, the Thai restaurant(Samui Island) is the best. I just woudn’t go out of my way to eat here, especially if I were jonesing for Mexican.

Los Arcos more like Los Barcos. My dog would turn up her nose to this 2nd rate Amer-Mexi pooh pooh platter. They recently reopened on Sundays(the day I was there) – probably to push out the left over product from the weekends. I got the chimichanga platter and some other things – all I can say is that my Asian Princess took one bite of the rice spit it out and told me” I weawy cannnt velieve they serve this shit — it is olwd”. Server acted like my gringo a”s should go back to my side of Norcross – and I will —-promise to never cheat on my neighborhood mexi joint again =Lupitas. But really I love all versions of Latino-Gringo food and Los Arcos did not deliver. I was a little sad. 2.5 stars Out

I adore this little hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant for lunch. Unfortunately, many of the shops in this suburban strip mall on the corner of Spaulding and Peachtree Parkway have closed, but Los Arcos is usually filled with an assortment of nearby office workers and high school students, chowing down on their favorite standbys. I’ve tried most of the lunch menu items, but for the last few years my regular order is the chicken fajita quesadilla, with refried beans instead of rice, and no sour cream. It’s nicely portioned, so you won’t leave with that«oh my gosh I ate too much» feeling normally associated with these places. The chips are just OK, but the salsa has a nice, spicy kick to it — enough to perk up those taste buds, but not so hot you’ll need to gulp down your oversized water or soda.(Free refills!) Fast, friendly, and fresh-tasting, Los Arcos delivers the guilty pleasure Mexican goods.
