King Barrel

I rented some items from King Barrel for my engagement party back in the beginning of December 2015. Customer service was quite good; Monique answered my emails promptly. Her driver came to deliver/​pick up on the days as stated in our contract. However, the only complaint that I have with King Barrel is that it took forever for them to return my damage deposit check. On December 7^th when her driver came to pick up the items, I questioned him about my $ 1730 damage deposit check (which was supposed to be destroyed or returned to me after the rental and that none of the items rented was damaged). The driver gave Monique a call and then asked me if I’d like them to just tear off the check or to have it sent back to me. I said that I’d like for them to return the check to me. Fast forward 2 weeks later, after going through my mails, I still couldn’t find the check from King Barrel. I panicked and told my fiancé to cancel the check. We were charged $ 30 for the cancelling fee. I then contacted Monique to question about the check, she said that it had just gone out on Tuesday of that week (which is well over 2 weeks since the day of the pickup that she was supposed to send it out to me). I was upset about the delay, but more than that, was about how Monique had failed to notify me about it at all. We didn’t get the check until yesterday, which was 2 weeks since the date she actually sent it out. I understand it was technically the post office’s fault that it arrived late. But had Monique not mailed it out the day she promised to, it wouldn’t have taken a month for the check to get to us. Bottom line, if you rent items from King Barrel, be ready to expect your damage deposit check to take forever to get back to you.

I searched and searched around for a place that would make a wine barrel rack and I finally found one. Monique was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The entire process was fairly easy and manageable. This is definitely top quality and well worth the price.

Met Moses at the farmers market in Old Town Temecula. He was selling his barrel furniture at the Farmers Market. We liked the barrel style and thought the barrel sink would possibly work well in the wine country vacation rental we were building. We were assured he could get us what we needed. A barrel in grey tone to go with the gray oak colors we were putting in the bathroom. Also needed sink hole to be cut so our already purchased sink would set up and offset in the top of the barrel. Yes, yes, yes, he could do all that.
When he delivered the barrel, it was brown and the sink hole was the wrong size!
When we called him about the color not being gray, he immediately got very defensive. Didn’t want to take any responsibility for the errors he made. But at the end of the conversation Moses said he would «make it right». Turned out his idea of making it right, was to charge us an additional $ 150.00 to fix his mistakes. We offered to split the difference with him. He was not interested and curtly told us to pay up and pick up the barrel immediately or he would return it to storage in Norco. We were extremely disappointed in him and the way he handled the debacle. We spent thousands of $$$ in chairs and the barrel sink and truely felt wronged by the way he manages his business and «took care of us».

We just got an order of 8 rain barrels and couldn’t be happier! Not only did they
exceed my expectations in craftsmanship, but Moses hand delivered them a week ahead of schedule. And we started getting compliments before we set them up. Great service and a great product!

We were looking for some unique bar stools to replace the cheap ones we got on Amazon that were falling apart. During a Google search for bar stools King Barrel came up. My wife gave them a call and low and behold they said they were going to be in our area the next day and could give us a deal on some stools they had in stock. Some quick photos and phone calls were exchanged and bada bing bada bang, we have new bar stools the next day. Totally awesome. Did I mention we live way up in Ventura County? The barstools are made of old whiskey barrels and are very tough. We needed something that could withstand kids climbing and kicking and the big butts of large adults. These fit the bill and we think they will make for great conversation pieces. Thanks King Barrel for your great product and excellent service.

My husband and I were planning a wine themed engagement party for my daughter and her fiancé when we found King Barrel. They had everything I was searching for at excellent rental prices. The guest loved the wine barrel tables and the barrel ice chests for both the wine and soft drinks. The renting process with Monique was extremely easy and she was very helpful. I loved the that the delivery by Moses was on time and the barrels and table tops were very clean. (Not all beat up or stained) I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking for rentals.

I was looking to rent some barrels for my 10 year wedding vow renewal that was a pirate theme. I spoke with Monique and she was so friendly and helpful when I was trying to figure out what I needed. Moses delivered the barrels out to our event in orange county and was prompt and friendly. I would without a doubt rent from them again, and if I ever needed to buy a barrel, I would travel out to their shop to purchase

I called 8 party rental companies trying to get some wine barrels for an event in LA tomorrow. Most of them that even had barrels couldn’t deliver on short notice, they were pricey, and some weren’t even friendly on the phone. Moses was nice and helpful on the phone, and agreed to deliver the barrels at approximately ½ the price of the local event companies. I couldn’t be happier right now.

I was interested in ordering a whisky barrel lazy susan and absolutely loved the end product! Not only did I need the item is 2 weeks time but I also had a few questions about what the item would look like… Monique and Moses were prompt with sending me photos of the whiskey barrels to choose from and had the item on my doorstep in Colorado within 5 days! I am very impressed with the service level and the craftmanship of the lazy susan. Turned out to be a great and unique birthday present!

I love king barrel. They are my go to gift resource. I love the candle holders and wine holders. I have used them for birthday, Christmas and even wedding gifts. The quality is great and they look amazing. I wish I knew about them when I was getting married because I would have totally used them as part of my décor.

King Barrel is a unique business. Moses & Monique are the owners. Barrels are transformed to items that can be used inside a house or even outside. For those of you who like to check his front and backyard you will see their specialities such as Halloween Barrels shaped like Pumpin faces, wine bottle holders, Planters, Dog Beds, candle holders, ice chests, water fountains, bar stands and more.
If you are unable to reach Norco. He is normally at Farmers market down on Saturday at Old Town Temecula and the same day in Hollywood.
He has several ways of getting the purchased item to you. If you are close by he would not mind taking to you for a price, for smaller items you can meet them at their location or Farmer’s market, and he has a local vendor who will ship via UPS or FedEx safely to its destination anywhere.

I rented barrels for a circus event to rep a moonshine company. The owners were very accomodating and nice. They delivered for a fee which was very helpful that they offered that service. They even customized a sign for us that my client was able to keep. I will def rent from them again for any future events!

My husband has talked for years about wanting a barrel, he has searched for years, he found King Barrel on Craigslist and has talked about it forever, finally called and we drove out to Norco, we were so impressed on how he took the time to show us around and all of the things that he makes with a barrel, we’re still talking about it.

What a find right here in Norco. I just bought the most amazing half barrel coffee table and a full barell made into a place for the cats to do their business. I thought I would have to go to Napa for items like this. The owner is welcoming, informative, and a true artist. Coming back soon for gifts and a super neat jack o lantern barrel. Bring a truck!

I was searching for some large planter pots and came across King Barrel. The owner was very professional, responsive, and overall, pleasant to deal with. They have an extensive selection of wine barrel items compared to other retailers online, and competitively priced to boot. I was so pleased with the 3 barrels I originally purchased that I went back and bought 2 more.

I came across these Barrel’s on Craigslist and they looked authentic. however it is Craigslist so I was a little skeptical. After looking up King Barrel up on Unilocal I was pleased to see the positive reviews. I then decided to make a visit to see them in person. What I experienced next far exceeded my expectations. Moses greeted me and walked me to his warehouse behind his home where all the magic happens. He showed me both the wine barrels and whiskey barrels and explained the differences between them. He then showed me some of the custom pieces he had crafted including tables, lamps, wine racks, etc. I was very impressed. After seeing all my options I ended up picking out one of the Whiskey barrels. Moses took the time to wash, bolt, and stain the barrel with Linseed Oil to give it the perfect finish. It is a great starter piece for our apartment and I could not be happier with it. There is no doubt I will be visiting King Barrel for more unique pieces in the future.

I was looking online for Wine Barrels to use as an end table and stumbled across King Barrels. I am so happy I found them! So much to choose from. One of kind pieces. I am in love with my end table. Can’t wait to go back and get more!
I purchased a ¾ barrel, the inside is stained a gorgeous red color from the wine and it smells amazing.
I would recommend calling first to make sure someone is there and not out on a delivery.
