Verizon FiOS

Almost six years ago Verizon laid down fiber optics on our street and streets all around us and brought the cables up through yards and into large white power boxes every so many homes and wired streets all around us but never gave us the opportunity to sign up for FIOS. As FIOS continues to offer wonderful TV and internet packages our street can’t get any of them. For the last five years people in our area have written to Verizon asking why we can’t our FIOS installed and all they do is him haw around about it. The cables are already there so we can’t understand what the problem is. The customer service people will not give us someone in Verizon’s heiarchy to speak with about this so we are stuck taking either Comcast who is rated worst at customer service or a satellite carrier who can’t handle large amounts of Video on Demand such as FIOS and can’t give good internet connections. FIOS just continues to ignore us. Considering that the lines are buried we aren’t asking for much to be done except run lines in our yards and put the service in just as everyone else does. Many people in our town do have FiOS and one of the main junctions for the system is guess where? At the end of our street. Recently we have even dropped our cellular service with verizon as if they can’t offer us what they offer so many other people why should we give them any of our business? In the world we are in now i suggest you give your business to someone who really wants it and not someone like this who have to be begged to even give an answer that is just not some form letter that really says nothing.
