Absolutely wonderful experience. So glad to finally have an Indian place in Hamilton County that I’m actually excited to return to! Best Indian food I’ve had around here by far. Just gonna dive straight into the food one by one because that’s what really matters here: — Samosas: Not the best samosa filling I’ve had, but still yummy. The crust was what made it. Flaky almost like a pie crust, not greasy, not too thick but not too thin. — I don’t exactly know what it’s called or how we ended up receiving it, but we got a plate of these naan-bread-esque things that were the bomb dot com. They were thinner than a chip but packed a lot of flavor. The sauces that came with them(as well as with the samosas) were wonderful. The mint was good, the tomato one was better, and the tamarind one was WONDERFUL. I would drink a glass of that sauce. Holy moly. It was very sweet but somehow went with everything perfectly. — We also ended up with a basket of actual naan bread, which was good. Just about like every other Indian place I’ve been to, though… naan is always good! — I had the lamb biryani. It was in a small container but was a LOT of food… I could only eat 1⁄3 of it, had to box the rest. Very good. Lamb was tender, rice had lots of spice(chilies?). — My dad had the vindaloo. The sauce was very good, pretty spicy(although they ask you what spice level you would prefer for this dish). — My mom had the dal makini. I guess I’d call it a stew. It had lentils and kidney beans, and other stuff… I don’t know what was in there, but it was awesome. Next time we go, I’m definitely getting this. It was a little pricy, but we could pass on the naan bread and appetizer and all get water and scrape by pretty well here. We’ll definitely be back. I’m super happy that everything we had was so good. Previous tries at Indian places nearby(India Sizzling included) have left us rather disappointed, but this was great! We really want to try all of the«street snacks.»(Also I really hope they sell the tamarind sauce at Desi Bazaar. That stuff was next-level.)

I decided to go there this past weekend and give it a try depsite hearing mixed reviews about this place. I went in and got a good vibe smelling the food from outside but that was my only good experience for the day. We had the buffet and went to get the food and saw the options. Being vegeterian we didnt have a great selection paneet tikka masala, some other curry and onion pakora which was very dry, some babycorn appetizer which was super bland and chole. For bread garlic or butter naan fresh at table and biryani thats it. For dessert they had gajar halwa and mango custard. Now to details and why i had a bad experience. I started eating and realized the babycorn was bland, all the vegetables were ice cold even though i was told they were on stove. I called the server and told him he said sorry someone turned it off my mistake but he didnt even mention ill get u another one or something. We still ate it coZ we were hungry. Then i was told it started and shud be good so after 30mins went for another round and i was surprised but ice cold again. I lost my patience and told the senior person there again its cold and he said did u mix and take bottom will be hot i said i did but its still cold. Anyways i took it to my table and didnt eat. A few mins later they offered me to microwave it and eat. I am paying money to eat microwaved food. Sorry but i jus cannot eat that. Then i tried gajar halwa seeing there was a burner below but it turned out to be ice cold as well as upon close observation it was jus there without being lit. So all in all i ate cold food. I would expect i would not be charged for that bad experience but no i ended up paying 10 $ per person for that bad food. I will not go there again.

Great Indian food! Dhaba Indy has the best Indian food in the Indianapolis area. Yes, I have tried every Indian restaurant in this area — at least that I could find on the Internet. We tried the buffet and ordered individual dishes whenever there was no buffet. Each dish has its own unique flavor and spices, unlike some Indian restaurants. They opened in December 2015 and now seem to have worked out all of the kinks. The staff is very nice, helpful, and attentive. We saw a sign advertising dosas on Wednesday nights, but we have not yet had a chance to go on a Wednesday.

Absolutely delicious. Some of the best chicken Tikka Masala and chicken Korma I’ve had in a while. It was a delightful suprise.

Excited to visit new restaurant Dhaba Indy. Earlier they served through food truck and food was Awesome. The restaurant is no less and they lived up to our expectations. All food items are good especially biryani, grilled tilapia, chicken fry, chicken curry. Chicken tandoori is also very good and one of my favourite and it is best in dhaba Indy. The location and ambience are decent as well

First, we are super excited about an Indian restaurant in Noblesville. We have enjoyed take out and a sit down experience for dinner. Both were fantastic. The service is very friendly and they entertained my children’s questions and told them stories about the pictures in the wall. Ambience wise, not as fancy as some of the other options in Hamilton County, but the food and service easily make up for the décor. We will be regularly enjoying their food.

I was super excited to try the sit down restaurant after having an amazing experience with the Dhaba Indy food truck. I was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean, uniquely decorated, and hospitable. Now, the food… chicken tikka masala was one of my favorites. Naan and dosa were great sides. Fresh and made to order. They have vegetarian options and delicious meat entrees for carnivores like me and my 2 sons. We were a party of 8 and had the chance to sample several of their menu options. One of the overall favorites(for the carnivores) were the tandoori chicken and shrimp. The fried rice was popular for the younger children in our party. Chicken 65 will always be one of my favorites. I had this at first friday food truck festival and fell in love. #spicychickenobsession. I heard they may be getting a beer/wine liquor license, can’t wait to pair this awesome chicken with a cold beer! Looking fwd to returning. Love me some Dhaba Indy! Thanks Dhaba Indy for treating my family to a great cultural experience!

This is my second time eating here, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. It’s great that you can help yourself now to the buffet instead of the staff making your tray. The veg and non veg options are tasty. They bring some bread to your table, but there’s also rice near the food station. They have a few dessert options as well. The place was very busy, yet staff kept up with cleaning off tables and making sure people had water. Ample parking, and the restaurant is clean and bright. If you don’t eat meat, specify that when you order and pay because I think your buffet is $ 1 less.

So happy to have an Indian restaurant open in Noblesville, and the lunch buffet is an added bonus. Although not as polished or varied add my favorite in Carmel, Dhaba Indy definitely satisfied. The vegetable biryani was incredibly flavorful, and the shahi paneer was a nice break from the standard palak paneer. The tikka masala was also great. I look forward to my next visit.

This was my second time eating here, first time for lunch. The lunch buffet has less options than other local indian places but the QUALITY of the food was so much better, you won’t miss anything. The Naan was delicious. What blew me away today was the quality of the food at the buffet. Typically in a buffet setting I expect a lower quality since you are getting a bargain meal. Not here. At all. Every bite of food was top notch from the tandoori chicken to the vegetable briani.

This is outstanding Indian food. Came for lunch buffet and could not be happier. The sampling is fantastic and the food is spot on. Our meal came with naan, we chose the garlic and you can tell it’s all fresh. Can’t wait to come back! I want to add the wait staff were all great and helpful in describing the dishes. This is far better than India Sizzling.

Food Quality, Food Price and Customer service all Pathetic. Here is my rating on 10 scale… Mysore Masala Dosa — 1⁄10 Thali — 2⁄10 Naan — 6⁄10 Sambhar — 2⁄10 Paneer Curry — 5⁄10 Potato curry — 2⁄10 I was told, I would be getting 3 curries and Sambhar when ordering Thali. When I go to pick up Thali… they changed to 2 curries and sambhar. Menu listed dosa was $ 7.99 but was charged $ 10.99. When I asked why $ 10.99? he said it’s special dosa. I asked what was special about it? it sucked. He didn’t have an answer… just changed the price. Restaurant was kept clean though. Food quality and quantity should be improved.
