The food, service, prices are all just amazing. We love coming here they make us feel at home, my 9 year old grandson is always wanting to go to Courtney’s almost everyday :) For the ones that complain it is slow well if you want fast go to Mcdonald’s if you want homemade mouth watering fresh food this is the place. The wait and prices are worth it. I also love that they do not have WIFI this way friends can talk with each other and families can talk with each other. BTW breakfast is also very amazing and if you love homemade grits this is the place, just wish they had breakfast other than on sat-sun. we will continue to come here now come open a courtney’s in Tipton :) lol

First and last visit. Food was mediocre. Service was ok until a group of our server’s friends were seated next to our table. A woman who did not introduce herself came by and asked ‘is everything good?” I had a fork in my mouth and she did not even await my reply. I have never left a bad review before. Really disappointing considering other reviews.

Love, love, LOVE this place. I’ve never had a bad experience(food, service, or otherwise). I am completely impressed with the menu expansion as well. Pie is ALWAYS unbelievably good. The worst thing you’ll experience while there is trying to make your mind up about which of the many deserts to get. Small town restaurant with small town service; the servers are always a joy and seem to love their jobs. I usually get the banging grilled cheese and add on turkey. So simple, but so delicious. My husband loved the Italian garbage sandwich and meatloaf, though he’s had many other items. Highly recommend this gem!

Not for the health conscious. I have a medical condition which requires me to eat certain foods. I can usually just order a salad and be fine, however, I didn’t want to spend $ 10 on a salad made with iceberg lettuce. I opted for the light plate with chicken salad, two hard boiled eggs, and green beans. The chicken salad was okay, but nothing to write home about. The eggs were over boiled with green, dry yolks, and the green beans came from a can. Also, for $ 10 I either expected more food or expected the ingredients to be organic. I was still hungry when I left. With that said, my dad loved his patty melt and french fries. I tasted the fries and agreed, they were pretty good. The atmosphere was good and the staff was very friendly. So although I wouldn’t return as my options were too limited, my parents will most definitely go back.

Love Courtney’s kitchen! Ordered the petite tenderloin and it was amazing. The place is so cute inside with the mismatched table and chairs. They have daily specials everyday and their prices are very reasonable. If your looking for a great home cooked meal this is the place! Plus they make their own desserts! Yummy sugar cream pie.

The service was not great, pretty slow even though the restaurant wasn’t busy.(Perhaps the kitchen was busier then it was out on the floor, I know that can make things stressful). Our server couldn’t really keep up with our relatively simple orders, and seemed to be a bit overwhelmed. Even so, everyone was friendly and the place had a very hometown country vibe. All the tables and chairs and chairs are mismatched, and you get to pick your own seat which is nice. All the food was sub-par. Just frozen and thrown in a fryer. I got the fish and chips, My mom got the Tenderloin sandwhich, & we tried the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. Our mushrooms were cold in the center and had to be sent back. Much better the second round, but I’m pretty picky about my mushrooms and don’t love the frozen variety. That being said– we all agreed the French Fries were most definitely the best bit of our experience. Pretty good! Overall, it was a decent experience but I probably will not return. If I’m gonna eat fried food, I like it to be hand breaded and made to order. Unfortunately, that was not the case at Courtney’s Kitchen.

I came here with two friends on a Saturday night and probably got a seat. I ordered the special, which was fried chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. Those were all very good! I really wanted to try my friends burger, which had a grilled cheese bun. I sampled a couple of their French fries, and thought they were some of the best fries I had ever had! I’d love to go back and try something different. I had room for dessert, so I got some apple pie ala mode and loved it!

Very cute small town diner with delicious fresh food. Beyond that, the service was great. I got a pork tenderloin sandwich, which I decided I had to have before leaving Indy so Courtneys was the spot. I also decided I must try the sugar cream pie. The pie was well made, it reminded me of crème brulee on crust(being I have never had it before — some people may be very familiar with sugar cream pie). Their specials seemed to be flying off the shelf — that day it was chicken and dumplings. The pork was well seasoned and the fries were great. The portion sizes were great too. If you find yourself in the area, this is a great little spot.

Food is amazing. Appears to all be homemade. It didn’t take long for our food to get to our table and it was delicious. Waitresses were friendly and welcoming.

My family patrons at Courtney’s quite often. Every time we go there we receive great food, great service, and a nice atmosphere. We love going for breakfast the most, but lunch and dinner is yummy as well!

I love coming here. We always get several desserts and the sugar cream pie and confetti cake have been favorites. The buffalo chicken is very good and it’s a nice walk off the park on a pretty day. The lasagna is a family favorite and the tenderloin is very good. The service is spotty but always very friendly. Love the mixed chairs and family feel.

After reading reviews here, we decided to meet family for lunch. It was good but not as good as the reviews led me to believe. Desserts were delicious and the food was good also. They were busy at noon which is good for any restaurant! Loved the varied tables and chairs and the menu specials on the blackboard!

I only heard about this from a friend when I asked her suggestion about the best place to go for Tenderloin Tuesdays for Hamilton County. It was the last Tuesday, some how we missed all of them, but we just had to go. For the special you got a huge sandwich, fries, and pie for one price! The tenderloin was very large. I should have gotten the smaller one. It was probably the best tenderloin I have had in awhile. I got the fried one and it was tender and easy to eat, yet a bit crispy on the outside. We really enjoyed the pie! It was sugar cream pie and we each had our own cute plate. I love stuff like that. My little saucer was the exact same my grandma had! A Corelle one. It was fun to reminisce while we ate our pie. I love how Courtney’s is decorated, it was a little loud even though it wasn’t super busy. Our waitress was super attentive. You can park in the lot next door for free after certain hours like nights and weekends. There is a sign. Otherwise there were a few places in front.

We went for Tenderloin Tuesday and this was the best place to go in my opinion! The tenderloin was big, juicy, and tasty! The corn dog appetizer was good and we got the sugar cream pie which was a perfect ending to our meal. Our waitress kept our drinks filled and was super attentive even though the place was packed. Parking might be a little bit of an issue weekdays at lunch, but they have spots in front and at nights you can use the lot next door for free.

Service was very good. Although the waitress appeared to be pretty young, she was very good at her job and came around several times to give drink refills and ask if we needed anything. I had the half size turkey manhattan, and my husband had the full size beef manhattan. Despite being a half size, my meal was actually pretty big, with two slices of bread, an ample portion of meat, and a large scoop of mashed potatoes, and corn on the side. The meal tasted good, and I thought the prices were very reasonable.

This place is like taking a trip back in time! Love the décor, the warmth of the staff, and the breaded tenderloin! WOW! I never felt rushed to order, not to pay my check. My server was fantastic, and the service was great! The hand-cut french fries were so good! The tenderloin is in my Top 10 favorites of all time. Perfectly seasoned, with a nice peppery taste that was not overwhelming. Even the bun was top-notch! The sugar cream pie was AMAZING! Homemade flavor and texture. I will be back, again and again!

Really good meals. I really don’t know why we go more often. Hamburger was excellent and my brides chicken wrap was excellent as well. Fountain drinks are mixed perfect. Nice to see someone is not trying to save a penny a drink.
