If you’re going to buy furniture from a store on the central coast, this is the best place. We looked everywhere and they have the best selection and prices, and great customer service. Danielle, the in-house interior designer, went above and beyond to try and find us the sort of couch we were looking for. Unfortunately, they didn’t have that couch, and the prices just can’t compare at all to buying online. I wish it would’ve worked out, because they definitely were helpful and patient. In the end, we weighed the money saved against the gamble of buying an uncomfortable couch, and the money won. In this case, it ended up being the right decision, as we love our Ashley couch purchased online for 600 bucks!

I’ve shopped in this store once in Atascadero and then again in Nipomo. Both of these times I’ve had excellent experiences! Both ordered items arrived as ordered without delays! In fact, last order was here in less than two weeks! I had an issue with my cushions on sectional and they immediately came out to take pictures and ordered new ones to replace problem. Fixed in less than three weeks! Love these guys! I took my daughter there; she’s had the same excellent service! Great to have someone I trust!

I wish I could rate lower than one star! This is in regards to a fabric covered«Lane» recliner rocker. More later… beware of «Jessie» aka«The Closer». If you have a complaint his m.o. is to start yelling at you, hoping you are the meekest of meek and you will not fight him. Later he will lie to you and say«well why didn’t you tell me that?» Of course«you tried» but he will be yelling over you. Naturally if you are on the phone with him, everyone around only hears his side of the story. From the moment I stepped into this store I was marked to be ripped off. I do have pics that I shall post later and«tips» especially for a female shopper that is alone. I ask you«How do you leave a store, end up dropping $ 185.00 and have NOTHINGTOSHOW for it? The only other place that has happened to me was at Chumash Casino. More later… shoppers beware. Also make sure at the time of purchase… that they write the«model/serial» number on your receipt. That number should show which item you purchased. They did not do that on mine, used a «generic» number instead and sent a different and broken chair to me. So many more tricks… more later.

Wide Selection of furniture priced for the SLO area… Just wait for a major Holiday… where they also have discounts & no tax. Furniture does not come cheap in the SLO area… but here you can get what you pay for. They are one of the few, that still sell & stock real leather furniture… yes, at a fair mark-up…but there friendly delivery to the SLO area is just $ 50. The mark-up is for the expensive shipping to the Central Coast. If you want better stuff than the cheap crap they have at the discount Warehouses, then look here. A fine almost all high grade Leather Loveseat cost me around $ 1,700…but it is overstuff luxury… is motorized & feels like a solid quality piece which should last far longer than the Pleather crap loveseat that I bought at the local discount furniture place… which I think claimed it was leather… that crap started falling apart after just 2 years. You get what you pay for!

So. the furniture is beautiful there. They definitely have quality things and Jude is awesome! He was very helpful and genuinely nice. My husbad and I went in there a week ago and found a couch we loved for $ 2168 but it was discontinued and the last model is the floor model. We said we’d think about it and come back. In the meantime I went to the Stylehouse in Atascadero where the employees are all AMAZING! So helpful and sweet. They said they would do free delivery, no tax, and 10% off of any couch, but unfortunately they didn’t have the one we wanted in stock(which is discontinued). So today we went back to Stylehouse in Nipomo and asked for a discount on the floor model since it seemed unreasonable to pay full price for an item that who knows how many people have sat on and there was a giant spider on the couch and it’s been sitting there for months. The manager treated us like total crap and was yelling and saying he’ll bet us a «cookie» that this couch is going to fly out of the showroom in no time and he will not go any lower than $ 2000. We would love to purchase from this place because their furniture is amazing and we love the quality, but we won’t just based on the way the manager treated us. He’s acted completely inappropriate and I have no desire to give them our business.

I have been driving by this place for a long time. I decided to stop by, mostly due to the great reviews I saw. Miguel was awesome! He totally got my style and showed me some excellent couches. I had a hard time deciding as they were all cute and reasonably priced. He brought certain things to my attention such as height of couch and the arms, time required for order, material, etc. I would never have thought of this stuff on my own! I was pleasantly surprised that they had so many couches in my taste sine I am pretty picky on these things. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to buy some furniture.

This place was great. We needed a «big girl» bed for our daughter and had heard good things about this place. We told them how much we wanted to spend and they showed us our options for mattresses and bed frames. They have a great selection. We found what we liked, ordered it, and it was in a week later. They offered free delivery but we had a truck to pick it up so they paid our sales tax instead! We will be using them in the future for sure.

I purchased a sofa and love seat the beginning of December 2012. I haven’t purchased a sofa in 10 years and was absolutely ready for something new. The staff was very nice and not aggressive. When the furniture was delivered the love seat was damaged bringing it into the house. They offered to leave it until a replacement was sent but we chose not to keep it and wait for the replacement. I didn’t realize the replacement would take 2 months. We just received the new love seat and the difference between the new love seat and the couch is huge. The cushions are 2 inches thicker and the arms and back are super stuffed. The couch feels slumpy compared to the love seat. It’s a real bummer because I was so looking forward to new stuff and this has put a damper on my new purchase. We liked that you can pick furniture and get it right away. We didn’t want to order from Ashley furniture because we didn’t want to wait. But we ended up waiting anyway. At least if we went to Ashley’s the furniture we would have gotten would have been factory fresh, like our love seat. I have not contacted StyleHouse about this, I don’t know if they would help me out. I picked out the couch we have so I don’t know if they would understand. Those are my issues with this business. I don’t necessarily think they did anything wrong or intentional. A courtesy call would have been nice in those two months to let me know they hadn’t forgotten about us. I would probably not shop there again. Oh and I saw another review that they had free delivery to San Luis Obispo, we are in Orcutt and paid 50 bucks, even though the window on the business says free delivery. Buying extras in this economy is very special, I don’t feel excited about my splurge.

Like the last times they were friendly and helpful — Leslie even remembered my name after about 6 months which really surprised me and made me feel welcome. Great furniture and great service! I got my entire living room set(couch, end table, coffee table, and dinette set here). The salesman, Jimmy, was very personable and charismatic. He really helped us out and gave a military discount. I was pressed for time to receive my order and this was the only store that accommodated me. I received the furniture intact and on time two days after I purchased it. The furniture is high quality and so is the store. I can’t say enough good things about it! After some really bad experiences with furniture stores, they were a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend them!

Horrible Experience!-backing it up a tad– i used them when they first moved here-and my sons bed was delivered damaged and defective-after much back and forth I got a new bed and left it as-accidents happen-now to recently-I chose to give them another whirl-I went in requested a mattress, frame and bunkie board they showed me my options and I told them I needed it now and they said it was in stock-I left with the frame as the other stuff was too big and I had to exchange the frame as they gave me the wrong one-(luckily they caught me in the parking lot)-I then sent my husband to pick up the big stuff with our truck and got a call at their closing notifying me that the mattress they gave us was the wrong one-at this point I was beyond frustrated so they offered to deliver the correct mattress and pick up the wrong one the following day at noon– but, the free delivery was enough to satisfy me and not demand a return but, I would never go back. I then got a call the next day an hour after they were supposed to be here telling me they looked everywhere and the mattress I bought is not there so they need to order a new one… This was the final straw-I piled the mattress, bunkie board and frame onto the roof of my car with 2 kids in hand and returned it all demanding a full refund-I will never shop here again, nor would I refer them to anyone! Its definitely worth the haul to Arroyo Grande to shop for new furniture
