I got the beef wonton noodle soup. Not bad at all for $ 6. The service wasn’t too bad. Could have been better but They were busy so I understood. I would have given them 5 stars if they had proper soup spoons and clean tables. But the food was great and I will come back!

Wonton noodle is probably the only one in the area. They put it in some really cheap flimsy plastic containers and just does not reek of high quality. But when you need a fix, they do come in handy.

This is Not about the small Wonton Deli area by the window but the main food take out area with the braised noodles. I discovered them to be sneaky and racist. Ignored me for 20 minutes while all Asians after me were helped, then finally got my order and gave me a dish mainly noodle and charged same as other shoppers that they gave bigger helpings to. I caught him and made him adjust and he just said yah your right. that was horrible especially after making me wait so long I caught how they were serving and pricing! If white person don’t bother unless you want to wait long time then get ripped off! They answer the phones too while you wait all that time when your the one in person. Very poor service and rude! Should answer and put caller on hold.

They win because there aren’t any wonton noodle soup options in the area. It’s decent(especially for $ 6, and they give you 5 – 6 wontons and plenty of meat), but the place is just awkward and uninviting if all you’re here for is Wonton Deli. It’s located in the Uni-mart grocery store. Take a right through the turnstile, pass the Filipino fast food counter that looks bright & modern, and the sad Wonton Deli counter is right up against the glass windows. It seems like most of the ingredients are stored on a cart except for the meats, which are cut in the back kitchen and takes a while. Then you pay at the grocery store’s cash register located in the middle of the store. They have a few small tables to eat at, which we did, but it’s not pretty. FYI — I went in mid-March, and the restaurant is still there and still accepts Groupons!

This is a grocery store with a popular turo turo style/catering food service area. This place have expanded their site down area which is nice. The old food service area has some very tasty Filipino food on the pricier side, but not over the top by any means. Wonton Deli is an extension of the store’s food service though I don’t quite understand why they keep it as a separate entity, it didn’t make a lot of sense. The stew is tasty but the flavor gets diluted in the soup, perhaps it’s better in combination with the rice. The soup, though it looks good, is just OK — the broth is bland(so good for kids). and should be with cabbage — the lettuce that they put is just not appetizing. The wonton is decent though. The BBQ pork buns has too much dough for the small filling. Pass on this. The shumai is actually very delicious. BUT at $ 1.07 a piece(really??) — not worth it. Will get again if there’s another Groupon deal!

Went to try to use my groupon and the restaurant is gone. Confirmed with the manager. It’s now a Filipino quick eats place.

I’d have to say 3.5 stars, but it’s right by my house and this would totally do the job if I was craving wonton. So, it’s inside Unimart. We tried both the cha siu and the beef stew. They took a long lime to serve this and we had two very energetic kids with us who don’t like to wait. But what this told us was that they were cooking to order, which was good! We did partake in the Groupon, and got the egg rolls included in the order. Everything we had was pretty good. Bottom line we would definitely come back. It’s reasonably priced, casual and pretty authentic tasting– perfect for the upcoming winter solstice!

This business is basically a new extension of the Unimart food stand in the grocery store here. If you want a quick casual no-frills stop for wonton noodles, this is a good place for that, and I’d go with about 3.5 stars overall here. They offer beef stew or BBQ pork wonton, with a generous and decent tasting serving for $ 5.95(we tried the beef stew). We came to try this place with a Groupon, which was basically 50% off. They also sell some limited dim sum which we did not try. A nice place to have around for the quick stop convenience factor, but you’re basically going to be eating in a grocery store here.

I recently bought a Groupon from here and I was a bit skeptical — partly because I went there on a Sunday and it was totally shut down. Second, it’s part of a grocery store… a bit like H-Mart’s food court only way smaller. So on a random day off, I came for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. The portions are fairly sizable and the won tons are definitely fresh. Since it was in a Filipino grocery store, I thought that maybe it may have tasted a bit different, but it had the same authentic flavors as when my Chinese parents make them. Now, it’s not the best won ton noodle soup I’ve ever had, but for the Northern suburbs, it beats having to go all the way to Chinatown. I’d avoid the dim sum — that wasn’t really good. I’ll definitely go back again, even without the Groupon.
