I went there for the first time today after my wife got tired of hearing me whine about my neck pain, and I’m glad I did. When I walked in they immediately greeted me(clearly expecting my arrival) and in a blink I was back in the room with Nicole, the therapist. In fact, we were down to business a couple minutes early. This is HUGE for someone like me who is scheduled with back-to-back appointments most days. In the room she was all pro, confirming what brought me in instead of asking as if for the first time — it’s always reassuring when you know they actually looked at your appointment ahead of time. After a brief dialog she instructed me to lay on the table and told me to expect. And that’s exactly what happened. At the end I was given homework — instructional diagrams for some stretches, and tips for sleeping and sitting positions. I was hoping for a pill but what she gave me to work on doesn’t look difficult. She said she tries to make that part easy so people actually do it. What stood out the most to me was Nicole’s firm, yet gentle manner, equally evident in both her personality and how she handled my therapy. Everything she did seemed intentional, and she managed to explain without any undertones of judgement or condescension as can be easily found with some PTs. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this place for anyone seeking physical therapy.
