Very nice selection of rolls. Dynamite roll is a must! Arrive early unless you want to wait for a table! I’m so glad I saw this listing on Unilocal and tried the restaurant. Well worth it for out-​of-​towners unfamiliar with this area.

I have eaten here a few times. All I have ever gotten here is the sushi. I never had a problem the food is very good. Fast and friendly service. Dining room is very clean. They are always busy. This stop was at 3:00 in the afternoon there is only one table empty. I recommend this place for sushi.

Solid sushi spot in Niles Ohio. They have hibachi but make it in the back. I’ve never had the hibachi mostly due to the fact that the sushi is very tasty. The portions are good and the prices are good. I like the Godzilla Roll and the Youngstown Roll.

Service is fast, friendly and helpful for a first-​timer.

My son turned me onto to this Lil gem of a restaurant when it first opened in the area and have been addicted ever since. I’ve told everyone I know who loves sushi and then some about this place. Efficient staff, wonderful plate presentation and calming atmosphere to dine in. Niles location is small but charming. It’s especially fascinating to watch the staff prepare and make the sushi and other items. Never had a bad meal here and takeout is same.

Ive been here like ten times and its always good. Sushi is beautiful and is so yummy I would eat it everyday. The only downside is how busy they can get so its a good idea to call ahead. Also, when you order takeout and they say it will be ready in 15 mins what they mean is ²⁰⁄₂₅ mins.

First time I tried sushi, I really like it. I had the eel and the salmon. Very busy place, which says a lot!

Best Sushi in the area! My faves are the Spider roll, and the spicy yellow tail roll. Very consistent, every time I go the food is great!

If you want sushi, there is no other place around that even comes close. I love coming here for the sushi and their hibachi chicken dinners.

I’ve never had a bad meal here! Chicken and steak is always cooked perfectly and never too dry. Very reasonable prices as well. Their take out is always ready very quickly as well. Don’t judge a book by its cover definitely applies here as the outside isn’t appealing but the inside is warm and cozy and the staff has always been very friendly. Will continue to come here often!

This place is my favorite sushi place now. They are the best at rolling seafood. When I went there I ordered the teriyaki tofu Binto box and everything on it was amazing. I also got spider rolls and they were amazing as well.

Best Japanese food I’ve ever had. The chicken, shrimp, or steak hibachi dishes are the best!

This is our go-​to eating out spot. The fish is very fresh! My husband and I eat a lot of sushi, and we recently spent a month eating it in Japan; while I won’t pretend that this rivals Tokyo sushi, it is fresh and delicious. We’ve tried several appetizers, rolls, and much of the sashimi — and the service is always attentive.

Great atmosphere, Japanese feel is authentic, cool sushi bar, bustling with business. Have eaten here several times now, good food for a good price with adequate service. Had to ask several times for chopsticks; communication barrier with servers evident.

I stayed away from this place for a long time. The exterior looks shabby and unimpressive. (I think at one point it was a hot dog place)
Inside, however is very nice. The have a variety of fresh sushi and hibachi. Every thing is delicious and presented very well.
Dinner time is usually very busy, so we go at lunch time.

Stopped in because of the Unilocal reviews and was surprised by the outside. But man was it great inside! Had four rolls with a buddy: tiger, Godzilla, monster and dynamite. All of them were fantastic but the tiger was my favorite. Place had every table full but service was still gold. Great sushi find!

My husband and I just moved here from Houston, TX. Sushi is one of our favorites to get when we go out to eat. I was skeptical about Mizu being as good as everyone was saying …
We ordered the Pork Gyoza and Harumaki (Japanese spring roll) for our app. I have to say the pork gyoza was very good! We ordered the Harumaki for our daughter who loves egg rolls … I assume they were good since she ate all three (she’s one)!
For our entrée. We ordered the Fantastic Roll, Spider Roll, Youngstown Roll and Volcano Roll. My favorite was the Youngstown roll. The asparagus adds a nice touch and the shrimp tempura in the Fantastic roll was crunchy and well seasoned. I was not a fan of the Spider Roll. but my husband liked it. We never received the Volcano roll (I assume our waitress missed it on the order sheet) … but we didn’t mind. We were full from those three rolls. The portions were just right!
Over all the food and atmosphere was good. You can tell the ingredients were very fresh! This will be our go to spot for when we crave sushi :)

Mizu niles does it right. Everything is fresh and tasty. We’ve never had a bad experience. I’ve had sushi in several big cities and by far mizu tops them all. Always have great service and even if there is a wait it’s well worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant!
