Little Damascus

Incredible! Everything was so fresh and flavorful! I moved out of the area a few years ago and flavors like this and food style are hard to come by! The Chicken over Rice was amazing! I will be recommending to my friends and family! We finished the meal with their homemade baklava – don’t pass this up! Thanks so much for the wonderful meal! I’ll see you all soon!

Stopped in for something different. I am a big fan of middle eastern food. I stopped here to try the chicken Shawarma pita sandwich. The chicken is tender and seasoning is delicious with a garlic sauce that makes the sandwich just right. I tried a vegetable pizza pie that was very good the last time I went and I wasn’t disappointed. I look forward to trying some other items on the menu every time I return. If you looking for something different and you like middle eastern food this is your place.
They have a few tables inside to sit and eat and the owners are extremely nice and will answer any question you have about the variety of items they have on the menu.

This food is amazing. I’ve travelled to the Mediterranean and find that this food is the real thing!

This is the first time we ordered here. We had it delivered. I was very excited they had sleek. It was very good. We also had the chicken on a rod and hummus. We will order again very good food!

Adding another update to original review. Chance to try some new dishes and add a few pictures.
Got an order of just the raw kibbee, and the lamb plate. The lamb plate came with garlic dip, a little cup of semi hot pickled green peppers. Some tabbouleh, and a nice sized little cup oh hummus.
The kibbee was great! Too much for just me. Unless you are really into raw kibbee, this would be great shared with three other folks. It was really tasty, nicely seasoned and really really fresh. Pretty sure it was ground and seasoned when I ordered it. Check out the picture. It is good stuff. Spread on the thin flat bread, with a little tabouli on it, nice.
The lamb plate was good. I love lamb. Little Damascus does not really hit up the lamb with a ton of garlic. But it is seasoned as it should be for the area (Syria, not Niles) and also is sliced into small pieces and cooked on the flat top grill. Not cooked like shawarma or leg of lamb. But, again, great flavor and great on the flat bread with some hummus and garlic sauce.
Below is pieces of original review and updates and edits. Unless somehow I get a bad meal, no more updates. Oh, and wife got the lamb sandwich with fries. I love the fries at this place. And wife loves the lamb sandwich, which is really a roll up. Now, time to add some pictures. Especially the raw kibbee. Oh, and the leftover raw kibbee I took home and rolled into kebabs, made some rice on the side.
This place was excellent. I got the chicken Syrian platter. Wife got lamb sandwich on flatbread. Other two folks got lamb. Chicken. And they liked their food so much the got a lamb platter for the son to go.
Seriously, having lived in Pittsburgh last four years, this place is the BEST Mediterranean food I have ever had. And this close to home I can’t believe it was this good.
They are mainly to go, but have a few tables for eat in customers. The food is OUTSTANDING UNBELIEVABLE I cannot believe this quality of food is right here!
Eating here again. Love this place. Getting the number 17 lamb on a rod double order 17 bucks. Comes with salad and rice. Love this food, and love this place. If it was in Boston or New York there would be lines of people. Lucky it is here! And getting food that tastes great every time!

The owner seems nice. He was a little concerned with my request for extra spicy and jokingly asked if I was gonna call the police if it was too hot. Food = 4, Service = 2.

Food & people here are phenomenal! You are treated like family from the second you walk in the door! I am middle eastern (Lebanese/​Syrian) and when I tell you the food here is just as good as what I grew up eating & now make at home I mean it! When I walk in the door I am immediately a kid again in my great aunts kitchen (which was my great grandparents home before). The aroma is just what I remember & the food NEVER disappoints! I cannot reccommend Little Damascus enough!!! EVERYTHING on the menu is delish!!! You want good homemade middle eastern food, go here, quickly & often!

Great food, amazing prices, and wonderful service!
My mother, my wife, and a friend of ours ate here, and everything was fantastic! The proprietor even came out with a plate of their stuffed cabbage (which we had not ordered) and told us that his mother had made us a plate to taste! (They were divine, by the way.) My only criticism is that they could spend some more attention on the atmosphere, but since most of their business is take-​out, it hardly suffers.

Great family owned joint. If you need a Mediterranean fix. Little Damascus is a great place to go. Mostly a takeout place. but they do have A table inside where the cook will plate your food and serve it too you. Makes you feel inside their home! Love their Hummus and Babaganush. i always get the lamb over rice with EXTRA garlic sauce. I dont know what they put it the garlic sauce but its crack to me. They cater too which is nice! for me, its a great quick lunch spot. Will continue going!

Great food and great price-​friendly people/​fast service and free delivery This is everything I want in a restaurant. I will be back. I highly recommend this place.

Really great selection. Food is made fresh. I had the lamb and rice the portion was huge. Very very tasty! Niles needed a good middle eastern restaurant. They offer delivery too! Gyros, Falafel, Salads, all very affordable. The dinners will run you 8 – 12 dollars.

Nice menu, hot, fresh food, tasty desserts. The dining room is small so take-​out is a good option. No credit cards yet. Mon — Sat: 11:00 — 21:00
