Cheers, although notably not the crème de la crème of bars, holds a certain nostalgic value that other bars within the area simply cannot compete with. My fiancé has been a frequent flyer of Cheers from a very young age and despite the hip, cool vibes that often attracts he and I to other bars with huge beer selections it is the comfort and memories that has repeatedly pulled him back in. Having not always been a member of the secret Cheers society I experienced the infamous Cheers Lounge for the first time a little over a week ago when celebrating the life of a friend. Cheers isn’t just a bar, it’s place where friends and great memories or made. Cheers may not have the best beer, or really any beer except Bud Light or Miller High Life(aka Miller Low Life), and they may not have the best food, or really any food except microwaveable pizza and Cheetos, but Cheers does have one of the best atmospheres when filled with all the people that call it «homebase». Essentially, if you’re on the hunt for some rare craft beer that you can’t find anywhere else then Cheers is the absolute last place to look… in fact, don’t even look here for that because you won’t find it. Cheers has exactly what I state — Bud Light and Miller Light — and they offer it for such a cheap price that it’s almost free. You can order a small pitcher of beer for only $ 4 and if you’re a real man or woman you’ll drink that whole pitcher by yourself… because why not? Besides the beer which is already extremely cheap, their pizza is also pretty cheap… and surprisingly good. There’s nothing better than enjoying some greasy-ass, cheesy pizza with beer in hand surrounded by awesome, loud-mouth friends. That’s exactly what you’re going to get so don’t come in here expecting anything different. Besides the people and food which has been adequately covered, it should be noted that they also have a couple of pool tables, a jukebox and darts, making it the true dive bar experience. There isn’t anything about Cheers that doesn’t scream«dive bar» so if that’s your kind of scene then you are in the greatest of luck. Just be aware of the fact that it’s typically pretty crowded in here and so the bartenders are quite busy and rushing around. With all that being said, though, Cheers is a great place to lay low and relax… and maybe even form some great memories. Remember… What happens in Cheers stays in Cheers… sometimes.
