I’ve bought and eaten a good 75 of their goods. Many varieties of delicious buns. However, very expensive and product quality has been inconsistent. Good service.

I bought a cake last night that had chocolate cake with strawberries and whipped cream~ It was very nice, light, and not too sweet. The girl who served us yesterday was very nice and made the buying and selection experience very enjoyable. +1 more star for bini bakery :)

The place is clean and comfortable! I love that they offer shaved ice with beans! It’s totally yummy and just what you need during summer time. I really like their bread and pastries too!

I really love the Korean breads, both sweet and savory, and Bini Bakery makes some very tasty breads and pastries. I was a bit disappointed this last time by the number of empty baskets compared to when I have been here before. One of their display tables was nearly completely empty. As many other reviewers have stated, I think they are a bit too expensive. The staff is great, though. Very friendly.

I bought 5 breads last wednesday. two redbean buns, one butter buns, one corn bun, and one ham something bun. The red bean buns were okay. I always get this everytime I shop there. The butter bun was okay. Its basically bun with butter inside. The corn bun was meh. Then for the last one, the ham bun. I’m 100% disappointed. It tasted weird, like not fresh. I mean there’s potato inside the bread. I’m pretty sure that it spoiled. You know when you eat a NOT fresh food, right? I’ve been here so many times. I bought their cakes, breads, coffee, etc. Their price is just OUTRAGEOUS. Pricey, small portions. I don’t think I will buy from here ever again. I can get a delicious bread and cake from other place where they make it fresh and not pricey.

Purchased a milk tea bubble tea here, which turned out to be simply blended ice with powdered milk tea flavor. Terrrible taste, overpriced for what it is, and I regret deciding to shop there.

Beautiful, tasty Korean breads and pastries. Loads of stuff available to sample, and the samples are arranged in a thoughtful way on a table out in front of the bakery. Sometimes, when places put samples out, it seems almost like they don’t want you to try or enjoy their food. Like they’re doing it because they have to, not because they want to entice your business. Bini Bakery isn’t one of these places. They want you to try, fall in love, and buy things. With baked goods this tasty, who wouldn’t? This location is a bit smaller and more cramped than the newer one in Naperville. Same great products, but the atmosphere is different. Still good if you want some really nice Korean baked goods, though.

Bini Bakery is a solid Korean bakery inside of H-Mart. They serve a variety of baked goods usually on sale for buy 3, get 1 free. They also sell bubble teas and smoothies — the smoothies are awesome. I had the blueberry smoothie on my most recent visit and it was so refreshing! Blueberries are supposed to help improve memory so I’m trying to get them whenever I can! hehe My favorite of the baked goods here are the buns with red bean inside, yum. My fellow white people, prepare yourself for a Korean bakery by not expecting chocolate and overly sweet desserts. They focus on fruit flavors, creams and bean pastes. My recommendation is to grab 4 of the baked goods and a smoothie then do your shopping around H-Mart!

I usually just try the free bread samples. The cakes look wonderful. Get a coffee here once in awhile… when the need for a coffee calls. The kids that work here are really nice.

I have only bought cakes in there. The taste and presentation are vey nice. I like their whipped cream light and rich. Today, I bought sweet potato, 7 inch round cake, $ 25. It’s not too sweet, just right. i can taste the natural sweet potato sweetness. I love it. I don’t like American big cakes, too much sugar, too much icing, too big, and too artificial.

The best part about Bini Bakery are the free samples! Actually the samples do work — when you can’t decide what to get to cure your sweet tooth, you can sample about a half dozen breads and pastries. They have nice comfortable seating and(like the rest of the Super H food court) free wi-fi.

No more frozen yogurt! I was very disappointed in finding this out after looking forward to it all day. I asked the lady if the«fresh fruit smoothie» is made with fresh fruit, she replied jam. So, it’s not fresh fruit? –2 stars(one for taking frozen yogurt off the menu, one for the«fresh fruit» statement) Since I made it all the way there, I figure I’ll give their cakes a try. I couldn’t remember if it was good or not. I got their four piece set: strawberry yogurt cake, tiramisu, cheesecake, and strawberry cake. Had three out four pieces(saved the cheesescake for hubby and it’s still sitting in the fridge): delicious. Redeemed themselves: +2 stars.

So far so good are my thoughts about the breads I’ve purchased from Bini. It’s a Korean bakery which is inside of H Mart. They have a space which is greatly bigger than any of the other food stalls and have a nice display of many typical bakery items one would find at any Korean bakery. Prices range and since they are located within H Mart and popular with Americans some things can be grossly outrageous in price. I stick to what I know and like; red bean. Some red bean breads can go for just under $ 3 a piece and something like a potato ham filled or Almond under $ 2 dollars. Most any time they have samples out, so make sure to take a taste. Just the other day I had a taste of some strange kind of custard bread. The custard was almost like a cheese and was in every slice of the bread. Quite nice actually. I think next time i smuggle food into the movie theater it’s gonna be a few of the ham potato breads.

My husband is a bread and dessert addict. You can imagine what happened when I introduced him to the cream stuffed breads. He eats an entire loaf in less than 15 minutes. Yes, the bakery is pricey but so fantastic. We are not Asian but really are happy we stumbled into this Bakery. I make special trips to the bakery in search of their wonderful breads.

I know this is going to sound weird but I suggest you try the sweet garlicky bread-cake. I was passing by there because I wanted to go get some spicy rice cake from the vendor right next to this bakery and they had free sames. The guy who worked there offered me some and said«would you like to try some garlic bread?». I was thinking savory instead of sweet. Who would have though of… dare I say… BOTH? Love that combo. They have pastry rolls that was delightful as well. I miss you Bini Bakery! Once my diet is over with, I will come back, I promise.

Being married to a baker, my husband is the world’s toughest dessert critic. $ 4 truffles from Vosges? Snore. World Pastry Championship-winning entremets from Vanille? Tht’s girl stuff. But a peanut crème bun from Bini? One bite the the cuss-laden compliments were flying. «Holy sh*t, that’s fu**ing good!» It got even more intense when he tried the mocha bun, so much so that he abandoned his bowl of udon completely to immediately return to Bini and buy a whole loaf of the stuff. That’s big stuff from the guy who has shrugged his shoulders at almost every pastry in Chicago. (For the record, I adore Vosges, Vanille Patisserie and now, also Bini Bakery.) Oh and PS, we saw a donkey on the sidewalk on our way to Super H Mart today. We don’t know why. We don’t care why. I’m going to be really disappointed when there isn’t another donkey standing there next time we go.

I LOVE Bini Bakery! This is my go to place for Korean pastries. I highly recommend Bini for traditional pastries(puffed cream bbang, coffee cake rolls, red bean buns, sugar coated donuts, and of course their sweet potato cake). Their bread loaves are pretty good too… soft, eggy and perfect for french toast. Korean people tend to like their desserts moderately sweet, so if you like your sweets intensely sweet, I don’t recommend a stop here. I’ve met the owner of Bini several times. He is incredibly social and loves talking about each dessert. It is clear that he is passionate about his products! Note: I don’t recommend Bini’s non-Korean desserts. Their tiramisu and strawberry shortcake were ok, but something was definitely off. Confession: I like to pick up a sweet red bean bun before I start grocery shopping at H-Mart. It’s a bad habit!

I’m over this bakery. I wanted a slice of sweet potato cake today. It’s got a refreshingly unique taste, not overly like sweet potato, just more like root. And for those who don’t like excessively sweet cakes, this one caters to you, but I didn’t remember the small slice being $ 5. Ouch. Expect those prices of all the cakes. The shelves offer countless different kinds of buns and loaves, but take a closer look at the plastic wrap, and you can see the glistening fat and grease. Atleast you know it’ll be tasty. Fat is delicious! There were also«special» cupcakes, and when I asked the sales girl what made it special, she murmured and giggled something about it not having powder in it and being made fresh there. …What? In any case, I took the blueberry one home with me, and it was more like a sweet, crumbly bread. I can also still feel the trans fat sitting in my stomach. Lesson: call anything a cupcake, and I’ll buy it.

Their motto? «Natural, Healthy, Free Style.» I am not sure what that means, if they are organic, or what not, but they have some really really great baked good alternatives. BUT that being said, Bini Bakery I hate you. I hate you with a passion. Why? Because you are like a prostitute in the Red Light District, showing off your wares and enticing those of us with weaknesses! This bakery is located inside Super H mart. If you have a sweet tooth, do not look to your right upon entering, avoid this place at all costs. Do not be tempted by that amazing table full of samples. Do not let that woman with the tantalizing fork full of creamy melt in your mouth cake catch your eye! She seduced my 3 year old like the witch did to Snow White with that shiny red apple. It was absolutely horrifying. Horrible. After one bite of that cake, he was hooked. It was like giving someone crack. They can’t help themselves. He had to have more. How much? Haha! About $ 27 for a mini cake. Over $ 50+ for a cake that serves 10. Being the pushover that I am, I purchased a slice for him, I had absolutely no reason or occasion to buy a whole cake, especially at those prices. I mean, how much could a slice cost? Someone should have stamped stupid on my head and sent me to remedial math. If a cake for 10 costs $ 50, how much would 1⁄10 of that cake cost? He chose a beautiful raspberry mousse and white cake with light as a feather whipped cream. It had a perfect raspberry dusted with confectioner’s sugar. The sliver was about 1 ½ inches wide. I assumed that maybe it would cost $ 3? WRONG!!! Repeat remedial math! It was a little over $ 5 frigging dollars! It was too late to refuse the slice… I did not want a scene from the Exorcist to erupt. I did what I had to do, I bought it. I have never seen cake inhaled as fast as this one. Next time, he will be wearing blinders.
