This is insane — we waited for food forever and the place wasn’t even packed. 40 – 50 min to wait — it’s not worth it. I give one star only because the view was nice, everything else was very bad.

Came here on a Sunday for a late lunch with my Uncle, cousin, and boyfriend. It was already around 2 and we got a table at the back. The view at the back of the restaurant was really pretty and the fresh air was wonderful. We got seated and a waitress took our order. After she took out order we waited for about 45 mins until our food came out. :/​Way too long of a wait. Food was ok. I ordered the Prawns and Chips and my boyfriend ordered a burger. He said his burger was undercooked but still edible. I know they were understaffed, but they for the wait time they could’ve at least had the food hot. :O Overall the view was nice, servers were nice, but the food was cold and the long wait made me give it two stars.

We were there in Tuesday 5⁄10 and sat at the bar to order food. It took one hour to get it. Terrible service. We went back to retry in Thursday 5⁄12 and sat in the restaurant and it took an hour just to get ice tea and we had to go get our drinks at the bar that we ordered a half hour ago. It took 1⁄12 hours to get our food. When I asked. why it took so long the server said im not sure why sir why do you think it took so long. I said I dont know you work here. The server told me thats just how it is. We seen another table get up and leave and another table. had hair in its hamburger. The food is decent, but service really is terrible.

I give this place 4 stars for their ability to seat 25 of us with a reservation. However, our group was split into two. The waiters tried to keep up, but one extra might have helped. I had the pan seared Cod with rice pilaf. My food wasn’t hot but the flavor was ok. The sauted zucchini was crisp and flavorable. A glass of good wine for $ 5 was the best part! Heard from others that their food was just ok. Guess if a place will take reservations they should also be prepared to serve that many. No live music on Thurs tho. Not sure I will be back. The location is right on the water.

The food was great! He had Chicken Fried Steak; the steak was as big as the platter, the vegetables were tasty and the gravy was tasty. The Fish and Chips were amazing. Then there’s the waiter David; friendly, informative and best of all attentive. Definitely a place to put on your agenda.

Very good Fish and Chips, and I get the chicken wing appetizer for dinner sometimes, and ask for NO sauce, it comes with 10 pieces, so I split it with another person and get 2 salads or even split one… It is great fried chicken without any sauce… Beer and drinks are reasonable also. GREAT outside area with a great view, and you can smoke outside, but I’m bummed you can’t even bring a dog to the outside area, Like this is Lake County, not Sam’s in Tiburon, there are people up here that have more fleas than most dogs, LIGHTEN UP Boathouse !!!

We spent a few days at Featherbed Railroad down the street. This was one of their recommendations, not far away, to eat. Well, they were «spot on»! The service is very friendly, for they treat you like family. This is a combination of restaurant and bar, right on the shore of Clear Lake. Food selections are good, and they love to use fresh local ingredients in their dishes. Portions are enormous, yet the price is very reasonable! We liked this so much, that we ate here twice. Lots of parking. They have TV’s for sports, pool table, and dart board. Oh, and show your Featherbed Railroad key for 10% off your bill.

My daughter and I eat here almost once a week lately. We came once months ago and were very impressed. The service is awesome as long as it is a weekday, weekends are pretty busy. The food is always exactly as ordered and very tasty. I recommend it to all my friends!

Took my client here for his 93 Birthday and I have to say the burger was cooked to perfection and the salad was good but the Blue cheese dressing was phenomenal big chunks of blue cheese in it! My client had the prawns and fries, such large portions and friendly service. They offered Birthday cake on the house but we had No room! We relaxed outside and soaked up the sun and watched the ducks before heading out. Nice atmosphere friendly service.

I have eaten clam pasta dishes a lot. In Italy and at home. But the linguini Alfredo with clams was the best ever. A pound of clams. Fresh clams. Excellent fresh Caesar salad. Good wine. All reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Fast. Friendly. Enjoyed dinner a lot. Would come back but not near home.

35 minutes to get 2 margaritas sans the tequila. Gross.
40 minutes to get frozen generic jalapeño poppers that were molten lava and bland.
48 minutes to get our meal: tri-​tip sliders (decent but had to ask for more sauce which I’m sure was sweet baby rays) and prawns and chips (prawns had thick breading and no flavor and chips were undercooked greasy French fries).
Service wasn’t stellar and he looked super stressed out. Not the best night. But would it ever be?

This place is a great boat in restaurant that serves excellent food at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend The Titanic burger. It is awesome! My husband had the jerk sandwich– also delicious. The side salad was the best ever. One warning: we ordered cocktails and they were very very weak. Order doubles.

One of the few restaurants you can visit by boat. Live music and nice outdoor seating. Friendly service, not fast but for us that was okay because we were enjoying the environment… Menu is pretty much your typical bar food and they do a pretty good job with it.

We were driving from Sacramento to the coast and discovered this unique restaurant. The building is nothing to look at but the views from the rear deck was like overlooking a Swiss lake… gorgeous views!
Margie gave us excellent service even though it was quite a hike from the kitchen to the deck. She was also very helpful as to the history of the area.
We enjoyed our fish and chips, fried prawns and chips, clams and garlic sauce (exceptional), and the tri tops barbeque. The French fries were also very good.
We highly recommend the Boathouse for a fantastic view, attentive service, and good food.
