You can count me as one seriously disappointed customer. While I made a mistake on which way the cover folds you assured me that you use the actual model as a template and on that model, the cover opens from the front, which is the 79″ dimension. In my mind the fold went along the 79″ dimension. It’s confusing and you should have caught that, and your sales person said as much when they called me. Even your recording says that you use the templates from my actual model to make the cover, but that’s simply not true. Once I received a cover that’s too big and folds the wrong way this company(Amanda) told me that they«sympathized» with me, but that I should sell the cover I paid $ 475 for on Craigslist and then order another cover from them for $ 300! I have ordered covers in the past and they arrived in perfect shape and functionality. I won’t be bothering to order anything from your company ever again and I will be writing a review to this effect. I waited 6 weeks for a very expensive cover that I can’t use, and you are now making me do more work suggesting I sell it on Craigslist! You seriously don’t care about your customer. I deeply regret having found you on the internet. My mistake but one that I will not make ever again. Do not buy from this company. Many other reviewers say that their 7 year warranty is a joke.

I’ve been posting on the companies Facebook page and they’ve taken down any comments I post, and have now blocked me. They don’t have one negative post on their website or Facebook. This should be a red flag for everyone, no one has a perfect customer service reviews. UPDATE: I received a call today from one of the owners of The Cover Guy to see if there was a solution for the problems which I’ve had with the cover and the customer service representative. He was polite & courteous, listening to my problem, and we came to resolution for the problem(which isn’t as big of a problem as I was originally led to originally believe). This is all a consumer can ask for; far too many companies don’t realize that without the consumer, there is no company. It is a shame that it had to escalate to an online post, such as this to get action, but I am assured that internal action is being taken to make sure things like this don’t happen again. Thank you for resolving my problem!

I ordered a hot tub cover and it came a full inch too long. They made me take photos to «prove» it’s an inch too long. They now tell me that they have a «policy» that allows an inch tolerance on covers. This can not be found on their website. Now I have a cover that won’t close all the way. This company has horrible customer service. They should have appologized, refunded my money or re-made the cover CORRECTLY.
