We went when they first opened and yes slow slow slow staff not trained but we went back because the food is good and the staff was a lot better. Pitas and hummus are delicious a must try

Hostess/waitress seemed more confused than we did when there was only enough rice for one of our three meals. Overpriced for sure. No ice with the tapwater. Meals served one at a time over 10 minutes. Shrimp and shwarma chicken were perfect, but the scallops were gross and the chicken shish was fatty and tough. All around a poor experience to the tune of a static flute dvd on the tv above the empty fiahtank.

I love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food as I spent a large part of my childhood in the Middle East. Although I wasn’t blown away on my first visit(ok food, personable staff, slow slow service) I came back because my first visit had been during the ‘soft opening’, so I gave them time to iron out the creases. Unfortunately my second visit was even worst and I most likely won’t return. But it’s not the food that drove me away. Although most of it was mediocre(dry atypical gyros LATHERED in tahini, bland falafel — however, the zatar pita chips and hummus were delicious!) but it was the staff that left us running for the door. Our waiter, and I’m assuming manager or co-owner flew over the line of overbearing. He was at our side every other minute checking how the food was, prompting us for praise and although I can admire his passion for the business it was VERY uncomfortable. He even went as far as demanding the table next to us like and share them on Facebook — checking their phones to ensure they did so! After he asked for the 6th time of asking how the food was, we finally sheepishly admitted that the meat was dry… wrong choice. He launched into a 5 minute speech of excuses and apologies and then refused to let us leave(he actually begged) until he had cooked us a new one, at which point he stood at our table the entire time to watch us eat it. While I get that this is almost definitely their first business venture, I wish them good luck, but seriously recommend the staff lighten up on their front of house aggressiveness. Venus Mediterranean has better food, faster service and a much more comfortable atmosphere.

Definitely a better experience food wise than last time. The Greek fries a better than any other and made a bit different than most places. Also ordered the open souvlaki entrée and that was good too. I do not recommend the kibba which is an appetizer. Same friday service
