Mario’s Pizza

We stopped in today for real NY pizza while on vacation and are really happy that we did! The awesome aroma of just-​made pies welcomed us through the front door. Ordered one slice of pepperoni and one slice of veggie. I don’t believe I have ever seen artichoke on a pizza before, but the veggie slice had artichoke, kalamata olives, mushrooms, olive oil and mozzarella cheese. Both slices were absolutely delicious, so my companion and I shared a third slice (pepperoni again). Guess where we are having dinner?
Mario is a friendly guy — easy to talk to. The gal at the counter was patient with other patrons that had very limited English-​speaking abilities. I understand that the restaurant is crazy busy all Summer and closed in the Winter, so October was the perfect time to visit Niagara Falls with no crowds.
Mario’s is cash only, but has an ATM machine onsite. This pizza was one of the highlights of our trip!

Some of the best New York style pizza I have ever had. A cozy little place that isn’t lacking in personality. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
If it’s not too busy you might be lucky enough to watch a good chess match.

Ir would have been nice if they had anything more than salads and cheese pizza. I hoped for more but was just disappointed bu the lack of selection.

i m a big time pizza lover from chicago. I have tried more than 30 different pizzas from 5 stars to 0 stars in whoel USA. This place has good quality new york style pizza. Little bit pricey buy due to the location it’s fine. They need to advertise more and need more indoor sitting. Pizza was warm and not much greasy.

Pizza was good, just needed more pepperoni. Clean inside. Outdoor seating available too. Staff is friendly.

Great pizza, nice crispy crust, fresh sauce and good quality thick cut pepperoni. Friendly staff and fast service for a busy holiday weekend. We got a full pie with half cheese and half pepperoni. The family enjoyed it all without leaving me a chance at the last piece. Definitely worth a return visit.

Pizza was fine. Expecting more for «NY style» in NY. Kids didn’t like the pepperoni, which was strange because they love pepperoni. Crust tasted good. Sauce tasted like tomato paste. Cheese was ok. Service was good.

Delish pizza, the herbs were fresh! Great first stop to eat in Niagra Falls. Glad we ate here! Drinks were reasonably priced too.

Slices or full pizzas. Casual but clean and very friendly. It was the perfect place to get a quick inexpensive but tasty lunch after seeing the falls.

Descent pizza, but they are kind of slow. No appetizer option. Pizza is really good though

Arrived from Atlanta in time for lunch, led here by the great reviews on Unilocal.Best decision we made… oh what a pizza it was!

We stopped by for lunch after seeing the falls and asked if they were okay with us sitting out front with our dog. Not only were they okay with that, they gave him a treat and big bowl of water, and the pizza was fantastic!

Very accommodating and great tasting pizza! Our daughter has food allergies (dairy, egg, nuts) and they made her a small pizza that she could safely eat.

two words AMAZING PIZZA. So unique and so delicious! You can get traditional style pizza or something different if your feeling like a change. I absolutely loved their pizza and can’t wait to go back! slices are BIG and the price is fair. I will be visiting again very soon. Great atmosphere and awesome people working in there, you can tell they’re italian and know whats up!

Went here with my wife and two kids. My wife got a run of the mill garden salad for $ 7.95. I split a large cheese pizza with my kids for $ 17. The food was alright. Nothing special. About as good as can be expected for such a touristy area

Quick pick up of slices right around closing time. Glad to get something cheap and fast in the area before heading back out on the road. The pizza was good. My husband was hoping to get a salad (listed on their big chalkboard menu), but the girl said they don’t make them in summer. That’s weird. Anyway, they stayed open a little late to finish selling off the last couple of pies in slices and had to turn away a lot of people looking to buy full pies. Give them a try, even if Unilocal says they just closed. ;)

This was a decent pizza place but I can’t really give it a full review as we walked in at 9 and they only had slices and not pies. I had a pepperoni one and it was pretty good actually. Thin and saucy, like me. But I wanted a salad and the girl said they don’t make salads in the summer? And that she doesn’t know why it’s still on the menu??? Not sure how to respond to that one but ok.
The pizza is good and not pricey at all.

Mario’s Pizza is just a stone’s throw away from the Mighty Niagara — easy place to stop in for a slice or a whole pie or order take out and have at home. Their pizzas are THE VERY BEST. The owner (Mario) treats each pie like a work of art — and you can tell by the taste that he only uses the best ingredients! A lot different than the normal pizzas you might find in the area. Good stuff —

small, local, family run. Their Aegean pizza is awesome. You can buy pizza by the slice, and they also offer gluten free personal pizzas.

Excellent NY style pizza. Perfect lunch stop while visiting the american side of the falls.
