I purchased a groupon for the growler stop and when my GPS took me to a gas station I was very surprised. When I went inside the store I was very impressed with the setup. They had about a dozen craft beers available for growler fills. They also offer samples for $ 0.50-$ 1.00. The staff was very friendly and I was really surprised at how much the knew about the beers they offered. Oh and I can forget the bretzles… they are awesome.

They now offer regional favorites, and locals. Last trip there was Brew Kettle out of NE Ohio, and Kentucky Bourbon Barrel. They have also gotten the license to sample beers(50¢ each), so try before you buy! They’ve had limited releases, like the Galaxy High from Mad Tree. Not too many places get these limited beers! Grab your jug and go, or buy one of theirs!

I have been here three times to buy or fill a growler and had a negative experience each time. The staff acts like it is a bother to fill growlers, they know nothing about the beer or the filling system and lottery sales always come first. The atmosphere is seedy at best and tonight after waiting for a long line of lottery buyers, I was told that the growler station was closed. I will never be back!

Home of the Bretzel and the Growler Stop! Right next door to Wags Park, I think this is one of the nicer Shell filling stations I’ve been too. Check out the Bretzel next tim you are there– it’s like an oven baked pretzel with a hot dog inside of it… very good! Plus they now sell locally brewed draft beer in Growlers(32 oz or 64 oz.). I foresee lots of stops here on my way home…

This is one of the better shell stations I’ve been to. Convenient, cleaner and not too crowded like some gas stations. There is a Dog wash station next door if you want to give your dog a bath.
