Always amazing cuts of meat and some great gelato in the freezer. Not opens on Sunday’s and Mondays but open most other days during normal business hours. Not very big but has what you need… Not the most pleasant staff but they know what they are doing. True butchers. Great sausages! And amazing steaks.

I hesitate to say this because I don’t want this place to get overrun. This is THE best meatball and sausage place in the Boston area. I’ve been going here for more than twenty years. The gourmet food racks are gone now, a casualty of the fact that beer and wine are more profitable. That’s the only knock I have. I usually go with the meatball /sausage combo with provolone. Sometimes just the sausage. Sometimes the spicy sausage. The bread is perfect, the sauce is killer, the meat is perfect. Seriously. Buy yourself some chips, some Limonata, maybe a lottery ticket, grab a napkin, and prepare for nirvana.

Excellent pastrami sandwich’s, best on bulky roll with spicy mustard. Agree with Jeremy K. Could use a little cleaning. Best to eat what is made fresh that day.

Depasquale’s is located in a residential area, equi-distant from Washington Street and the Coletti-Magni Park, right on Adam’s Street. The place isn’t huge but I was able to get a decent lunch from them on numerous occasions when I worked in the area. They are a small Italian deli/market and have a license enabling them to also sell beer and wine. The main reason I went there was for fresh, made to order sandwiches which were pretty good and affordable as well. I’ve had their veal parmesan and their caprese, alongside a few specials as well. Each time it’s been pretty good. They also have all kinds of drinks available including San Pellegrino’s Limonata, a favorite of mine. A few of the negative is that the place didn’t seem very clean. Not grimy but it feels dusty in there. I didn’t really feel super uncomfortable but it could definitely use some sprucing up. Furthermore, it is a bit cramped in there and I’ve had to wait outside because of how packed it was, even with only 5 – 6 people in line waiting. Not that pleasant. But not enough to disuade me from not going. Definitely not a bad place if in the area, searching for something for lunch. Or if you’re in the area and need some freshly sliced deli meats and such.
