I’m writing this review 8 years after V&F installed a paver driveway for me. About 2 years into its lifetime I started experiencing issues with pavers coming up. When I called the owner/manager(Vladimir) to come take a look, he did not bother showing up. While some settling especially on a driveway is expected, these problems will occur when not enough gravel and stone dust is put down prior to paver installation. In order to do a proper install, a base of at least 18−24″ needs to be prepped and packed prior to install. These guys put at most 6−8″ in some areas, while some areas were quite thin and as low as 2″. Last weekend I decided to address some of the issues. When I was taking the pavers off a few high areas, I discovered HUGE stones, and under one such bump a log that was used as a «filler». Apparently these guys ran out of the minuscule amount of gravel and stone dust, and decided to use one of my logs that I was going to use to heat my home to fill up a hole from which they took out a big stone. Needless to say I’m very disappointed with their job.
