Great reasonable pricing for great designs. Comfortable clothing for almost all occasions. Look for discounts because there will be something usually on sale. Store has been redesigned since the grand opening. Women on the left and men on the right.

I was excited to get a Uniqlo jacket — on someone’s recommendation — because it folds up very small for traveling. But this store was disappointing to me. (1) Chestnut Hill Mall is hard to get to(if you don’t already live in the area), and there wasn’t much else there that made it worth the trip for me. I would have preferred a Boston-area location. (2) The store is in a very high-end mall, but oddly enough, they seemed to have a rule against taking the jackets into the dressing rooms. I was holding my bag, my own heavy winter coat, and a shopping bag, and they expected me to do all the trying-on out in the store, without any place to set down my things. (3) The store was kind of a zoo. And the jackets were placed at an odd height — it was hard to see the size labels to pull down the ones I wanted, due to them being placed so high. So, I like the jacket so far, but did not really enjoy my visit, and don’t think I’d go back to this location.

i adore uniqlo. the soho location. the midtown location in NYC. i pilgrimage down there every time i’m in NYC. i was super psyched to see a store — a couple stores — open in the boston area. i hit ‘em up last weekend! i went here! and what did i find? uniqlo, you tease me. it’s in a mall. malls are generic and blah. the store is ultra tiny. the selection is a couple of their basics. you can find more of their basics on their website. and then there are even more cool limited-edition über-trendy shiny things that are NOT on the sites, aka reserved for their«Flagship» stores, which are in, say, NYC. and boston won’t have a flagship store until newbury st. opens in the spring. so, poo! i got my cheap heattech turtlenecks and romped out. if you want your heattech, some of it is here. best lightweight base layer material ever, super light, extremely popular. to the point where gap is trying to copy uniqlo. if you want some coats, yes, some are here. some flannel, some pants. blah blah. if you want anything trendy or fun or sometimes wacky — nope. wait for the flagship.

Even though this place is brimming with customers employees will help you out. Today I was supplied with a bag and they checked on a jacket size for me. The fitting room was easy to use and the checkout line went zippily along. The price-to-features of their clothing is really good. I suggest that they have more XL sizes on-rack(XS isn’t going to work for me). Overall I think this store has a strong future.

I have been waiting for this place to open. Hopefully when you read this review you can still make it to their grand opening and get some great deals. I got a ton of items and heat tech shirts for spending how ever much I did. If you like solid colors and warm but very light clothes this is the place. I didn’t like their sweaters bc it felt kinda itchy and it made me look bulky but I love the ultra down parkas and leggings and the heat tech shirts.

Finally, a Boston area store. And with convenient location and parking. This place is great for the clothing basics, and at great prices. Always was a fan of the NY store and online ordering. This is a terrific addition to the local retail landscape. Glad they put it in Chestnut Hill Mall.

I’ve patronized Uniqlo in Japan, Hong Kong, and New York. So I was deeply excited to find out that they were opening around Boston during my time when I was in town for work. It’s not as big as other Uniqlos, but still a wide selection to go crazy over. I ended up buying two wool-blend sweaters — one for me, one for my boyfriend — socks, an umbrella, and underwear. All for the low low price of $ 79. Crazy, right? I got anxiety over getting the right size sweater for my boyfriend, since I live in Minneapolis and can’t just exchange. The sales associates were really nice about helping me exchange just ten minutes after I made a purchase. Thanks, ladies!
