Totally overpriced. Unbelievably small portions…7 scallops for a 19 dollar dish? Salad was wilted and drenched in oil. Food was bland, boring, tired, and dull. Maybe one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten in. I felt like I was stepping into 1985. Waitress was super nice.

Came here for lunch, even though we were given a dinner menu at 2:59 when we walked in. Still, I thought the portions were generous and the prices reasonable. They could have been a little bit more generous with the water, I was dying of thirst when I didn’t get refills. Also, it would be nice to have a few salad dressings for people that don’t like balsamic and the salad could have used some more adornments. I think the menu would have been easier to navigate if it went by types of food, rather then prices. The meal was good, and the server was nice enough to warrant 4 stars, even with the things they could do to greatly improve the visit.

I’m torn about how many stars to give this place, technically 2.5 because the service and the food was great, except my husband found a piece of cellophane in his rollatini! Honestly, it happens and the manager was great about about it and treated us to dessert. That was nice since it was our anniversary. What makes it worse was that he took half of it home and found 3 more pieces of plastic in it! Just ended up throwing it away. Disappointing since what was edible was very good :-\ . Also, I don’t know what they use for house wine, but the house merlot was awful. I’m no connoisseur, but both my husband and I hated it. Spend the extra $$ and spring for a brand you know!

Veal was dry, tough and over sauced as was the pasta. Main course served right on top of the salads. Waitress removed a soiled knife from the salad plate and placed it back on the table — think she’d realize the diner was requesting a clean utensil. Many better dining options available in nearby Morris County and perhaps even up in the Newton area.

Good food, great wine, but an overzealous bus girl continually rushed our main course asking if we want it boxed as we take a breather to sip some wine. Also, I have a complete aversion to someone taking my knife off a plate and placing it back on the table. I’m dropping a hundred dollars on this meal, I expect a clean knife for my main course, maybe I’m a snob…

Simply stated… the entrees, the salads, the bread and the SERVICE were all top notch. Between my daughter, my wife and I we sampled veal, chicken and seafood entrees. Delicious. The wait staff was outstanding. Highly recommended!

Finished a 12+ mile Spartan race nearby, burned many calories, excited for dinner, saw reviews went here. I got the scallops. It looked great. After wolfing down a bunch my body started actually tasting the food. The scallops tasted like they were rotten. The sauce covered it up long enough for me to get partially through. Once I realized what I was tasting I was done. My wife’s food wasn’t much better, steak, chicken and shrimp special. She too was starving, but less forgiving. It wasn’t good. We have pretty low standards too. Staff was great though, nice ambiance as well.

Maybe not the best looking restaurant in the area but for great food and value it can’t be beat! The food is wonderful and the staff is friendly and helpful — if you don’t see what you want, just ask. Chances are they can make it! Wonderful place. Best Italian within 25 miles of our house.

Great service, not too pricey, Portobello Mushroom Milanese is fantastic. Nice little Italian restaurant. Good for dinner, their lunch menu is also very good.

Fantastic food and a great value. Specials are always tempting but I love the great meals on the standard menu. Appetizers and salads are well portioned and you will not leave there hungry. Impossible to find a better meal in the area.

Possibly the best marinara sauce I have ever had. Fried calamari was great. Entrees great. House salad OK but a little too much dressing. Bread was perfectly crusty and warm. Coming back another day for dessert.

There are not many good Italian places in the area but this place is pretty decent. The food is tasty and comes out fast. I’ve never had much of a problem with anything here like other reviewers had. It’s more on the expensive side but I believe it is worth the cost. I plan on going back.

Some of the best Italian food in the area! Better than average menu. Good service and atmosphere. Small bar area, 1TV, you come here to eat, not a pizzeria but a good restaurant. Worth a try.

A very nice Italian meal. The service was good, and I enjoyed a very tasty penne ala vodka with chicken. Very full menu for any Italian appetite.

We tried the Tuscany Bistro after seeing mixed reviews. The only thing positive I can find was the wine and the service. The specials sounded enticing but were not even mediocre. The bread was tasty, but the olive oil for dipping was either old or just cheap. The Portobello appetizer was barely edible. The chef deep fried the Portobello then topped it with prosciutto, red peppers which probably would have been alright if he hadn’t drowned it with a jarred raspberry topping. The entrées were edible but also had deep fried ingredients as well as being drowned in toppings. Extremely overpriced for quality of food. We will definitely not return.

Went here last week — had the stuffed mushroom appetizer — it was very tasty. But, unfortunately, the rest of my meal, and my friend’s was pretty awful. Salad was soaked in dressing, and it was ice cold. it tasted like the refrigerator. My Veal Picatta was ok — there was a lot of veal, but, it was not very tender. My friend had the seafood farfale(sp) special — it was awful. The place has an old school italian restaurant atmosphere, and everyone was very friendly. I just wish the food was better.

Consistant excellence. A casual atmosphere(with real tablecloths) but the food is far from casual. The prices are extremely reasonable and you’re always taking something home. BESTBREADEVER!!! Order off the ‘specials’ because they’re just that — very special. Always a best bet: Red Snapper if on special, Veal Dante from the regular menu. Their fish is always the freshest and though not everyones favorite(but mine) escargot. Classic Italian BEST is their eggplant rollatini. Escarole & beans is not just a soup here, it’s a meal. BONAPPETITE!

DON’T GO. Overcooked food with no flavor, poor service, and way over priced. If you do go, request a seat away from the bar and definately order a special. If you make a reservation, don’t expect good seating.

Oh My God!!! Less than a mile from my new house and oh so delicious… Calamari was on point as was the shrimp revelo for apps. I had the lasagna which was so delicious, meatballs were great too. My wife had the fetuccini with a carbonara sauce and it was equally amazing if not better. My brother and cousin had the tortellini genovese and that did not dissapoint either. We were so stuffed we did not have room for dessert although they all looked very tempting. Price was equal to an Olive Garden, but the quality was far and away better. I swear they must have an italian grandma in the kitchen cooking. I will be back.
