Absolutely the best florist in the Boston area. The owner went above and beyond customer service to help me with putting together a bouquet of flowers last minute for a special occasion. The flowers are great and service is superb!

The Crimson Petal and the owner Lee did a fabulous job on the flowers for my daughters wedding. My daughter and I met with Lee to discuss the flowers to be used in the centerpieces that I was making as well as the bouquets, etc. Lee was incredibly helpful with her guidance and suggestions. She took a lot of time with us and we left feeling confident that the flowers would be beautiful.
The flowers on her wedding day were beyond my expectations! Lee and her staff are artists! They captured the antique elegant feel that we were looking for. Plus they were professional and a pleasure to work with.
I would highly recommend the crimson petal for all of your floral needs. They are the best in the business and come at a very reasonable price!!!

I tried to return, exchange, or get some kind of credit from this store after purchasing an ivy plant. First, the green pot was broken at the time of my purchase and I had to remove a lot of dead leaves from the plant. I also watered the plant because it seemed a little dry. The store associate refused to have the plant returned or give me some kind of credit and told me that she didn’t want it back as it appeared to her that I brought it back because I didn’t want to take care of the plant and I didn’t water it. She didn’t even bother to check the soil. It was still damp and I watered the plant a couple of times after buying it. I was experiencing allergies symptoms and thought I could bring it back. Two years ago, I had a terrible rash and allergies from poison ivy. She didn’t believe it could have been related, and said I could just throw it away which I did when I left the store. Anyways, I lost my money, I had allergies and I was not satisfied by either the condition of the plant I purchased nor the customer service offered. I can find better looking plants at the local supermarket or department store and they will always give me my money back or at the very least some store credit. I will never buy anything from the crimson petal florist store again.

The owner and her colleague took care of my very last minute order (in fact, just as they were closing!) of two bouquets — and didn’t bat an eyelash when they realized I’m totally bossy about how I like my flowers to look. They kept the shop open late, listened to my likes/​dislikes, and put together two adorable vases for me at a really good price.
I highly recommend and will definitely return.

I came in desperate for a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my wife. And Ann really created a masterpiece which I must say Truly impressed me. She made extra sure that I cut the flowers properly when I arrived home. Clearly she is passionate about flowers etc.

This was the second time I used Crimson Petal for a wedding. The first time was two years ago when I got married for a second time. It was a small event with Lee the owner paying particular attention to my wants and needs. She put together a bridal bouquet, two bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnières, and a hand corsage for my mom as well as six small centerpieces and floral decorations for the Chuppah. She made recommendations for appropriate flowers according to my thoughts and suggestions. She delivered and set up with perfection. It was beautiful. I was so pleased with the package that I hired her for my daughter’s wedding a few weeks ago. Again, when we met with Lee, she listened. She heard what my daughter’s wishes were. I was thinking of some alternatives but Lee very professionally and kindly, explained to me how my daughter’s visions would be beautiful. She set up a sample centerpiece and I was «wowed!» Again, everything ran smoothly and the flowers were gorgeous! She paid particular attention to details for each aspect of the decorations. I received many compliments from family and friends about the flowers. I would highly recommend Crimson Petal for any of your events. It’s been a pleasure to work with Lee.

I walked in on prom day to get a boutonnière for my daughter’s date. They made a very nice one for me on the spot. Really it was lovely, and the service was terrific — the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the price ($ 13) seemed quite high. I had paid $ 6 at another florist the week before for a different event. This one was definitely nicer, but I don’t think it justifies the price being more than twice as high.

I was at work looking at my calendar, and then it suddenly occured to me that it was my mom’s birthday. It turns out that I’ve been so engrossed by school and work that i’ve nearly forgotten about my mom’s birthday. Unforgivable!
My schedule for the day was packed, so I needed something ASAP. In a perfect world, i would’ve wanted to be able ambush her to her dream house, but that’s not going to be happen until maybe 10 – 20 years down the road. I ended up walking into Crimson Petal during my lunch break and had Lee come up with an arrangement for my mom. I was able to get in and out the store within five minutes and For those that know me, i’m a firm believer that time is money, so i was really happy considering how fast i was able to get in and out of the store. On top of that, the arrangment was BEAUTIFUL.
My mom ended up really liking the arrangment and the flowers still look as good as it did a week and a half later.

The Crimson Petal is an independent florist that is part of the teleflora network. The Crimson Petal has a gigantic 20ft long walk in cooler where you can build your own bouquet one flower at a time. Doing that is sort of an alice in wonderland experience if you like flowers.
Local delivery is $ 11 if called in before 2pm.

Called at 9 very friendly helpful service. Delivery before noon. What could be better!

UPDATE —
I got the flowers I recently ordered. I asked the recipient to take the photo: I was disappointed. Online photos of the bouquet always look fuller and more pretty. I have yet to find a real florist shop decorate to the way it actually «SHOWS» on the website. Disappointed.
