Be very vigilant when you consign in newton centre. Firstly a pair of unworn Gucci sandals in original box with tissue were returned sans box. The second drop off which at the time was encouraged is missing. This group contained brand new over knee bl boots, bronze embellished BCBG boots, a pair of tapestry pumps from Anthropologie among other items… never found. Staff who encouraged drop off has since disappeared as did my items… thirdly a reversal fur vest was sold for 25. Of which I received 12. I have tried unsuccessfully to talk with a higher up but alas no success… think twice… in the future I will pass my items forward and not deal with the aggravation. too bad. I too miss this atrium mall shop.

I concur with all of the other statements — the retail staff didn’t know my number, acted more snobby than the staff at Bloomie’s and donated a coach purse of mine without a call to me. I had to physically go into the store to resolve the issue. What a pain! PS I really miss the one in the Atrium Mall — that place rocked.

I love this locale. They have a great selection from hip to classic, with some awesome vintage stuff too. Hannah, who runs the store now, is a darling,

Do not bother consigning. They lost my bag, I had called twice asking about it, they never called back. I went in to the store and they would not take blame for it going missing, or compensate for the loss because they would«lose too much money if they had to do that every time something went missing» …DId not even offer a coupon or discount in the store. Need to work on better policies for customer and client satisfaction and retention. And how NOT to lose items. Makes the whole business seem very shady. I feel no sympathy for them.

DONOTCONSIGNHERE!!! I had the worse experience here. I consigned about 40 items, a mix of high end designer(Missoni, Burberry, Escada, etc) and trendy brand(Lacoste, Susan Monaco, BCBG, etc) items. They sold a fair amount of it and when I went to pick up the remaining items they could not find 2 of the high end designer shirts(a Missoni and a Burberry). The girl that was working was incredibly unhelpful and refused to help look for the missing items. I had to hunt down the manager and get in touch with her to find out what happened to the shirts. They said the shirts were either lost or stolen and that it’s store policy that they are not responsible for lost or stolen items. I was horrified and will never work with this store again.

Heard once that this was the first location, but I never find much here(it’s pretty small and tends to be full of tennis mom garb– think Lily Pulitzer). It’s hard to browse because it’s crowded. I’ve found Ella Moss here before but not super-great deals.

This store is so crowded it’s hard to browse and enjoy. Staff has not been friendly and welcoming as at other stores. I love 2nd hand and vintage but just can’t get my groove on here. I went back because I was in the neighborhood. Staff was much friendlier but I still find it hard to browse and didn’t find anything terribly interesting. This is one of the chain’s «safe» and pricier stores I think.

This is my favorite of all the Second Time Around stores that I have been to. The woman who works there(Dorothy… I think that was her name) entertained me the entire time I was in the store, she is so cute I would go back to hang out with her, why do I get along with old people so well? Anyway, although it is smaller than the others I have been to, the selection is by far greater. I purchased a pair of Miss Sixty jeans and a great authentic Gucci purse for under $ 130.
