My wife bought treatments for my daughter for many thousands of dollars. The treatments were going fairly well. I went for the first time in October with my daughter who was returning home from school for the weekend. I got a really bad feeling about the place as I listened to them explaining over the phone that they shut down the Burlington location and their clients now need to come to Newton. You don’t do that without notifying your clientele upfront, so I became concerned that they were going to run for the hills. Sure enough, 3 days before my daughter’s appointment I get a message that they will be shutting down for the holiday and we will need to call to make a new appointment on Jan 2. My wife already knows that I think she signed a contract with a shady operation, so she wanted to call back immediately to understand the situation. No answer. I told her to press the button for new clients since they would probably continue to seek new money. Sure enough, they answer the phone and we start asking questions. They told us they are being bought and to call back after Jan 1. We asked her if they are going bankrupt and she said no. I hope I’m wrong and did not lose my money. Best case scenario, they sold their business and have treated their clients terribly. Worst case scenario, they folded shop and took everyone’s money. I hope it is the former.

AVOIDATALLCOSTS! Since the company has deactivated the option to leave reviews on their Facebook page(you can imagine why, can’t you?) — I will leave a review here. STAYAWAY — save your time, money and sanity. I got my armpit done(or half done) at this location in Newton and I am very disappointed. They are expensive, and after having 14 treatments(sessions) I still have hair growing. I started with 8 sessions, what they said it would be enough. Well, it wasn’t — then I used the 4 remaining sessions I had paid for(what they call the«warranty» in case you don’t get the«GUARANTEED» results with only the 8 sessions). Well, after 12 sessions I was about to lose my faith and left a bad review on their facebook page — for that, one of their regional managers call me and offered two more free sessions to get rid of the remaining hair. Wow! Great! Maybe these two more are just what I need. Then, after that, my hair IS still growing, and they wanted me to pay for a couple of more sessions to get rid of the remaining hair at $ 99 per session. SERIOUSLY? Why would I keep buying treatments when they are clearly not working? If after TERRIBLE14 sessions it didn’t work, how can you have the poker face to tell me I should buy a couple of more? Plus, they are rude, you complain and leave messages, send emails and they never reply. I have 3 more treatments for my lips that I WON for free, what is the ONLY reason I am actually doing it. It won’t(probably) work but at least will reduce, and since it was free — why not? But they are DEFINITELY not getting one more penny from me. JUST… DON’T GOTHERE! Go to MEDSPA in Boston, Newbury St, they are great — the equipment is better, people are nicer and they actually deliver results.

Horrible, horrible experiences with this company. I was originally a Burlington client, until they closed the location with no warning. Since then, I’ve dealt with three different managers all of whom have since quit or been fired, and multiple technicians. You’re lucky if you can get someone to answer the phone and extra lucky if you show up and they even have a record of your appointment. After thousands of dollars my results are no where near where they should be– Every manager tells me that they will fix the situation, and then when I call to follow up, they are no longer there. I’ve now been told that the Newton location– The only location left in MA — Is currently closed and has been bought out by another company. The company will no longer deal with me since it’s no longer their problem.

I have never been so disappointed in a service/company before. I originally signed up at the Burlington location, where I explained to the technician that I lived and worked in the area and would be getting my treatments during lunch breaks or just after work to fit into my busy schedule. After one ONE appointment I receive an email that the Burlington location is closing and I now need to travel to Newton to receive the rest of my treatments. Nothing was offered to offset this MASSIVE inconvenience because I can no longer get my treatments during lunch break as the traffic to travel 40 minutes is too much. I never would have chosen a laser hair removal location that far away from where I live and work. I have now received 2 more treatments at the Newton location. I was very disappointed but as time passed was getting over it. I had an appointment this week for Tuesday afternoon, called first thing Monday morning to reschedule to Thursday. The woman at the desk was very friendly and assisted me in finding a new time«great we will see you Thursday». Tuesday morning I receive a phone call that they need to cancel my appointment(which they still thought was today, within the hour) and also for Thursday because a «new operator will be taking over the space» and that I will get a phone call after the holidays to resume my appointments. What kind of business are they running here? Zero consistency, zero customer service. I spoke to an employee 24 hours ago who let me book an appointment and today I receive a call about a new operator? I am sick over the fact that I paid this company up front for over a year’s worth of treatments and that I am dealing with this level of incompetency. I would never recommend this nonsense to a friend or family member. I regret my decision to receive treatments from Premier Laser Spa.

This was my first time at the Newton Location. I didn’t even get my appt. they didn’t have my number to cancel. Because of some error in over booking on the same machine. Emailed me the day of to cancel I was already on my way. I booked my appt. 8 weeks ago. They couldn’t figure this out before?! Going back to the Burlington location.

Do not waste your time or energy with this place. I «won» a promotional $ 500 offer only to learn it’s not worth anything there. After asking what services this could get me, the answer was«A package will get you 8 sessions, anything less than that isn’t worth it.» I said that’s fine, and that I would find another place. To which she started explaining all the technology of the machines they use, and that all their technicians are certified… Don’t let them intimidate you!!! This place clearly isn’t aware of the supply and demand of laser care products! Poor them living in the 90’s… Her final attempt was«I can ask my manager.» All in all, very misleading people, and too expensive for the services they offer.

I highly recommend the Premier Laser Spa of Boston! The environment is both clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I recently had my second session and I am already very happy with the results. Appointments are quick and incredibly effective! This is the place to go for laser services in Boston!

If I could give this place a negative star I would !!! DONTWASTEYOURTIME and MONEY. I drove 45 minutes just to get to this place just for them to tell me that the technician wasn’t there! After trying to sell me on buying a package !! WTF! To add insult to injury they asked for a my groupon voucher trying to mark it redeem when I didn’t get the service i went there for. I’m so upset with this situation.
