This place deserves five stars for the friendly service! I had a voucher that I got online for a discounted oil change and tire rotations. I have to say I’m really pleased with the service. The men working here seem trustworthy and friendly.

Charlie and his crew are as good as it gets. This place just became my new go-​to.
Why did I pick them to start? Because when I called saying «I have problem X», Charlie’s reply was «How do you know? Maybe its not that bad. Lets take a look before we do an expensive job». Right there, I knew I had a quality mechanic on the phone.
I had a real whine/​whirring coming from my engine, which I had been TOLD was the power steering pump by the local toyota dealer. An expensive prospect. It took Charlie all of 7 minutes to figure out; NO, it wasn’t the pump, it was the belt tensioner, and here’s why, let me show you. Work was done quickly, took about an hour and half including getting the part delivered, at an excellent price point. Friendly and helpful service. Showed me the busted part after to illustrate the issue. Now my car is riding smooth and quiet.

I have been servicing my cars here for the past three or four years. I have always gotten prompt and courteous and professional service and the owners and techs are always very cool to deal with! This most recent car I will probably keep for at least seven years so I will at some point be getting work done out of warranty, so I look forward to using this company. The dealers have gotten so outrageous for most of the makes that we have to keep the good independents in business to have a real alternative.

These guys were so fast, friendly, efficient and trustworthy. Didn’t try to charge me for things I didn’t need. So refreshing find excellent, honest mechanics.

I have 3 cars and Charlie and George have worked on them all.
Will keep going back as needed.

Went to PCC for an oil change and felt like I got good quality service. I mentioned to Charlie as I walked out the door that one of the tires seemed to be low on pressure. When I came back the oil change was complete and the Charlie found a nail in the tire causing the loss of pressure. I removed it and patched it up, as oppose to telling me to replace it, saving me a lot of money. Great people and service.

This is an update from my review in Sept 2013. Since that time, I’ve brought my Honda 2007 for an oil change, and then another time last night. I’ll go into that a bit more below. Let me say, Pleasant (Charlie) is more than «pleasant» in my mind. Also, I brought my wife’s Acura MDX for a B123 (it’s one of those regular service checks) that the Acura dealership quoted for double the price that Pleasant charged! All of those experiences were awesome. Better than expected!
As for last night, let me tell you how great they are. In the morning, I was driving my car to work and a LOUD screech was coming from what I thought was one of the wheels. I crossed my fingers and I continued to work. At the end of the day, around 6pm, I started the car hoping that somehow it was all fixed. Of course, it wasn’t. Fortunately, my way home allows me to pass by this shop. Around 6;45pm, I saw tha the OPEN sign was still lit. I turned around and drove into the lot, but when I did, I noticed that Charlie was closing up.
I still knocked, and of course, he remembered me (or more importantly, my car.) Despite the fact he was ready to go home, Charlie took 15 minutes to help diagnose the problem, drove my car around the block for a spin, identified what wasn’t the problem, and then we figured out a time for me to come back. When I apologized for interfering his way home, he brought me into the shop, and showed me a letter that I can paraphrase says «customers come first, and customer appreciation is paramount to a great business.»
He thought it was a misplaced rock or something that was causing the problem. Seriously, most shops would have taken my car and charged me $ 500.00. He charged me ZERO.
Anytime I have a car issue (or any friends or people have a car issue), without question, I will direct them to Charlie and Pleasant.
Anyway, I woke up this morning and the problem was not there… He probably was right!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I’ve been taking my 2001 Honda Accord (150k miles) to Pleasant Car Care for the past 6 months and have been really happy with the service. George is great and has remembered who I am on sight since my first visit.
When I’ve had them repair something, they always save the old part and show me what was broken. They send out frequent coupons in the mail, and their prices are very reasonable.
They don’t do state inspections, but will take your car somewhere else for you to get the state inspection done. When I did this, they guys at the state inspection shop forgot to put on the new sticker. I noticed when I went to pick up my car, and PCC ran back for the sticker and gave me a voucher for a free oil change.
The amazing part is that I didn’t have to remind Pleasant Car Care about the free oil change the next time I took my car in — George had written it down in the system and already set the bill to $ 0 when I picked it up.
I trust these guys, everything they’ve fixed has stayed fixed, and I feel like I’m treated fairly. I highly recommend them.
