I have been a loyal customer of mail boxes etc. for many years now, but when I found out that the new owner Hanh(who is very sweet and helpful) bought it as a UPS store I was thrilled and all in for the change. The store is renovated and nice and new now with super helpful employees that try there best to guarantee you with the shipping prices and jobs needed for you. I will definitely be coming back to her store in Newton but also when I found out she has a store at 258 Harvard street Brookline i also go there for great service and great prices!

This is an excellent, conveniently located mail, shipping, and print shop with a dedicated owner-manager. He goes out of his way to be helpful and provides great service, including email tracking.

I went in this establishment this morning to get a flu certificate copied and faxed to a local hospital. A very angry, unpleasant short in stature and spirit black haired man treated me not only as if I was an interruption to «all the things he had on his mind», but actually said that he didn’t want to hear about what I was saying, and that he wasn’t in a good mood. He provided rude and truculent customer service. I will be writing corporate offices of mail boxes about his behavior. I will never go there again, and suggest that no one else does either unless they want to be handled dismissively and berated.

Yesterday(December 28), my wife(75 years old) went to the Mailboxes store at 831 Beacon Street in Newton Centre, MA, to ship a package. The manager/clerk was more than a half hour late in opening the store. After opening the store, this person started yelling at my wife, repeatedly using crude and vulgar language(including the«F» word) in his tirade. Whether this verbal abuse came from the manager or an employee, I do not know. He has real anger-management problems. Best to steer clear of this establishment at ALL costs! Joseph Dyer

Unbelievable! I dropped off a package a week ago and paid an additional $ 20 to have my package tracked. I never received the tracking information I was promised. It was for a passport renewal, so it was very important to me that I received tracking on this item. My passport and a check were enclosed in the envelope. I called yesterday to ask why I had not received any tracking information. The owner said he would call me back, and I never received a call. I called again today, and dealt with the owner again. He was extremely difficult and unpleasant. I had informed him that it seemed my package did arrive, because my check was deposited. But I was still upset because I paid the additional $ 20 for tracking, a service which was NOT provided to me. He continuously said, «why do you care, your package arrived safety, we did our job.» No, they did NOT do their job as they had promised. I spent two days calling them trying to figure out why I did not get tracking, and never did. At this point, I simply wanted a refund for the $ 20 service they did NOT provide to me. Yes, my package arrived, but for that service, I could have simply spent $ 2, not $ 22. Horrible business! Do not go there if you want ease of mind.

I have been a customer of Mail Boxes Etc. for many years. I have found their service to be both exceptional and professional. There are very few businesses left that provide this level of diverse service. Whether I need to drop a pre-labeled package or need a fragile item packed and shipped to Europe I am always thanked for my business. I often need large documents copied and items faxed — all available at this location.

My mom’s an architect and this is where she gets all of her copying done. The people here are really nice and make you feel less stupid about not knowing how to send a letter. GREATFOR: sending stuff that you dont know how to send. They are also notary public.
