Service wasn’t great. Not personable at all every time he brought something I said thank you and got nothing on reply. Check was dropped without a word as well as grabbing the money without any words. I know from other visits that he is owner or son of owner or whatever but seriously a personality goes a long way. Food was ok. I did not like the pancakes seemed like they put vanilla in or something… That and the service makes me not want to return

Been living in the area for a while now and was looking for a breakfast place to try, great food and fast service! Also very reasonably priced, under $ 20 for two people. Cute diner atmosphere, with lots of egg and omelette options for breakfast. Great place to try if you’re in the area looking a quick bite to eat!

I liked this place. The French Toast was just a tad aweet, the way I like it and the veg omelet was delicious as well. The staff is very friendly and I enjoyed dining here.

This is such a cute place, though it is very small, it is what is expected. For two orders of eggs, home-fries, bacon and coffee, it only came out to $ 18.15. All the waitresses are young and very friendly. From my past restaurant experience, in my opinion they checked in on us too frequently. Can’t really blame them though because they want to get everyone in and out because of the lack of tables. Overall, the food is very good, quick service and great prices! Plus for a Sunday morning there wasn’t a wait, we got a table right away. Especially love their home-fries! Highly recommended if you want a quick breakfast!

This place is very small and quaint, but the food was delicious. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and very sweet. The food is very reasonably priced. I had a breakfast sandwich with egg, potato, bacon, and homefries! It was $ 9.50. The potato egg sandwich is unique in my opinion. It’s definitely a local joint, but worth checking out!

This is a great traditional diner. The food was awesome. The atmosphere was amazing, it’s a total local place. Every table around us was talking about local politics and of course the Patriots.

The food we did get was good. However, far from what we initially wanted. We came into the place expecting it was just like other diners and would have some basic staples like eggs Benedict, corned beef hash, honey, and a tea other than just Lipton. Besides that, the service was good, the wait was short, and the coffee was great. Just a bit disappointed in the lack of options!

I was staying at the Marriott in Newton and refused to pay $ 20 for a basic breakfast. This was a great local option that was in walking distance. The service was friendly and food was made quickly. If I’m in the area I would definitely stop in again.

For a quick, inexpensive, delicious diner breakfast, I go here. My go-tos are an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a grilled english muffin and the sweet italian omelette. The breakfast sandwich is stacked with egg and cheese– so buttery, hot(crazy hot– this thing holds heat like nothing I’ve ever eaten) and delicious. The omelette is flavorful and cheesy and comes alongside delicious breakfast potatoes. Always get the homefries– they are seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The menu is simple. No bells and whistles. Just downright good diner food.

The food wasn’t horrible and the service was okay. Everything was just«okay»!! I love a good diner but this place didn’t do it for me. For the prices, I was expecting plates of too much food, it was just average and nothing seemed to stand out to make me say, I must comeback for that.,

I’m not too surprised to see other reviews where people based on their skin color or sexual orientation would feel unwelcome. The young main guy working the main counter with the short slicked back black hair was very unfriendly — I said thank you multiple times and he wouldn’t even look at me or reply. I did wonder a little if it was because I am dark skinned(Mexican-Italian). The Latin looking cook who brought out our food was very friendly — looks like the jerky guy could use some lessons from the cook(or the mom) regarding how to be friendly towards all people regardless of their skin color(if that was the issue for him — if not, then he needs some general lessons on what customer service means). Though he was friendly with the white guy at the counter as they talked football. Food was okay. Will never go back here based on unfriendliness.

The staff is extremely friendly!!! Great service and the food is excellent! The chef who made my breakfast definitely has the Greek warm heart what makes guests coming back. Patrons are also very friendly! Parking is available for one hour free on the diner’s sonde of rt 30 and for two hours on the opposite side. I was there on a Saturday morning when it is usually a busy time for diners and had no problem getting a seat(at the bar since I was by myself, but there were tables available as well) right away. I highly recommend this diner for breakfast! Thank you!

Just stopped by here for lunch, these guys are fantastic! You know, it really is the ingredients to make something even as simple as a sandwich spectacular. Make sure to introduce yourself to Nick — he’s the owner, real friendly guy, just a great place to be. Maria was the server and she was great.

I wish this place were located back home in MN. The diner was cozy at the end of a small shopping center and a bit off the main road. It is WORTH every second of the drive and if you are staying at the hotels 3 blocks down… You MUST make this a stop. We were greeted by a very lovely lady that directed us to sit at a booth– yay! The workers were kind and smiling and took a lot of pride in their work. You can tell that they enjoy it and I assume it is because they have a great product. The restaurant was decorated with inspiring phrases and words — «When you are at the end of you rope, tie a knot and hold on.» FDR. Now to the food. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes, personally do not care for chocolate but these were pretty impressive Ham and cheese sandwich on bagel. Wow. Yes please. I would have preferred to have the yolks runny and I assume they could if I had asked. Potato omelette– The home fries are inside… With cheese and added Ham. Delicious! Sausage omelette– I didn’t try it but it looked packed full of sausage! Two sides of toast– toasted to perfection Side of Home fries. Okay… All of this is fresh. The potatoes are made in the morning. They tasted like buttered/garlic/onion mashed potatoes flattened and browned on a flat iron. Yum. Made me want to run home and cook! I will be back. Thank you for the experience!

I was hoping to get a moderately healthy breakfast. This place is not the right match. NO fruit salad. No whole grain bread. Just basic breakfast food. And note they only accept cash. It was packed on a Thursday at lunch so it seems to be very popular anyway. I won’t be back.

The menu is very home school breakfast fare, the kind your grandmother whipped up in a few minutes when she was in a hurry. The food itself wasn’t remarkable. The best part of breakfast was the side of home fries, which is actually worth ordering if you make your way out. The service I received was bizarrely horrible. I was rushed to order, never checked up on once the food was delivered, and was given the check halfway through my meal, without asking, making me feel unwelcome and like I was being asked to leave, despite the place being nearly empty. All in all, with an unimpressive menu and mediocre service, I can’t see myself recommending this place to a friend nor giving it above a two star rating. Given the significantly better breakfast dining options within a few miles from here, I would recommend you take your hunger to be satisfied elsewhere.

I work nearby and I finally made it in to this place for lunch! Lots of menu options for breakfast and lunch, so it was a tough choice, but I decided on the meat lovers omelette with a ½ order of home-fries and whole wheat toast. My meal came out quickly and hot! The food was delicious! I sat up at the counter and had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners. She was so friendly and nice to talk to. I look forward to returning!

Great Spicy Home fries. Your average breakfast joint. Nothing spectacular on the menu, just the basics. Staff was super friendly. I felt at home.
