Stay away from this camp. The counselors and directors are missing the most basic camp skills. My son had a little homesickness and was having a hard time acclimating — something that happens at every residential camp. At this camp, campers can keep their phones so my son was calling me every day and telling me he was homesick. I called the camp and they said they would talk to my son. No one approached my son for two more days. They finally had someone talk to my son after three additional phone calls from me begging them to talk to him. Unfortunately, even though they had a counselor talk to my son, it didn’t turn out so well. The counselor asked my son why he was at camp if he couldn’t make friends. The next morning my son found out the same counselor stole money from a camper and was fired. The camp has no policies for handling kids that are struggling other then sending them home at the families cost. I think it’s a franchise and there are no qualifications for who works at or runs the camp. I would look at other tech camps before sending your children here. Numerous families left very unhappy.
