I am not sure what experience the person below is talking about because when you first fill out all of the paperwork it CLEARLY states in one of the forms that you sign that you cannot be more than 10 – 15 minutes late for your appointment without being charged. They also have a late cancel fee. If you cancel within 48 hours it’s $ 75.00, and if you cancel within 24 hours it’s the full $ 150.00 because at that point, your medical insurance will not cover it and the therapist still needs to be compensated for the session regardless of the client’s negligence. Yes, that may seem pretty steep, but these therapists are due their money for their appointment. They showed up for it, so the client is expected to as well. As responsible adults, we should be able to keep track of our appointments. Also, the therapist appointments are only 45 mins in length so if someone is running 30 minutes late, that’s a PRETTY big deal. This is their policy and they state that up front before you even make an appointment with a therapist. Anyway, I have NEVER had an issue with my therapist taking me in late, but I cannot speak for the others. I have seen 4 – 5 different therapists in my life and this by far has been the best one I have seen. This place has been a blessing to me! Sadly, my therapist is leaving at the end of April and I am not sure if I will continue to see someone there or not, but I sure hope so because everyone is so friendly!

These people are strictly in the business of taking your money. My wife goes here and has been burned twice by them for «cancellation» charges of 150.00 because once she was running about 30 minutes late and second time they made her schedule an appointment 3 months into the future and they never gave her a reminder call or card in the mail. When asked why they didn’t give out an auto confirmation call or card they said those are courtesies and they are not required to do so (I guess they are technically right but it just feels like bad business). On the other side they are constantly running late and making her wait for appointments. This place does a disservice to the entire mental health industry and I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for these services.
