Very mixed feelings. The massage itself had the makings of a decent one, but was ruined by a number of things: 1. during the 1 hour session, the masseuse left the room 6 times to handle incoming customers(walk-ins, according to her). I understand they don’t have a dedicated receptionist, but this is ridiculous. 2. When the masseuse was paying attention to what she was doing, she did a good job. However, a bunch of times during the session, she would start massaging with just one hand(fine in itself), but she would then start reading her phone, get distracted, and the pressure was almost nonexistent at that point. The quality suffered quite badly. One other minor thing, which just served as a cherry on top: I came in with a coupon I got in a mailing a few months ago. They refused to honor it(manager claimed it was only for certain days of the week, which is not stated anywhere; and tried to reduce the value of the coupon). This is a petty issue, but I feel it completes the picture of this particular visit. My wife and I used to like this place when they were at the mall, but I don’t think we’ll be coming back here… :(

I used to go here when it was in the mall. The first time I went here after it moved the massage therapist didn’t seem part of the chi family and hardly gave a real massage. Yesterday I went here and first of all, the entire floor including their space smelled of something rotten. Next, I like deep pressure but this kind of pressure was just way too much, quite painful. I told her to be softer but the neck was still way too much. When I got up my neck hurt. I said something and she said it would go away(which took over a day). There was no water given I finished, and then the kicker was I was going to give 15% tip due to the neck pain, and she said they only take 20%. What? Tipping should be based on the service. I won’t be going back.

This place is awesome. It used to be in the Chestnut Hill mall but moved a minute down the road. Same people though. I recently went to their new place and it’s beautiful, spacious and immaculate. I’ve had a lot of massages, from Boston to NY to Singapore, and I can honestly say this is one the best I’ve ever had. The prices are reasonable and the service is impeccable. They know the human body inside out and will literally find areas of tension and lactic acid build-up and work them out. I’ve never walked out of their place feeling the same. It really is a body work and health and wellness experience. I could say more, but I’ll close with this. They are generous with their time. Massages often go over time to finish, without charge. They also work without break– an hour massage here feels like 2 hours because it’s non-stop and thorough. 65 bucks for 60 minutes, you can’t beat it.
