We went here for years. While Dr Kaplan is very friendly and they have perks like a kids’ toy box to entertain them while waiting, I was very unimpressed with the hygienist staff. It’s incredibly unprofessional to hear the staff criticizing patient teeth and laughing at jokes about them while a member of my family was waiting in the chair for the dentist. Fortunately plenty of options in the Newton-​area. It’s too bad because the dentist is great, but I’ll pass on rude staff.

Love Dr. Kaplan and his staff! My family of 5 have been patients since 2002. The Center for Advanced Dental Care is top notch, very professional, friendly and caring. We work with Alison and Liane for cleanings and they are both so nice, great at asking questions, and non judgemental in coaching us on improving dental health and habits.
They always update family history and ask about allergies, especially to latex, so they wear the proper gloves. I’ve had the joy of watching Alison’s family start and grow over the past 13 years, and she has seen ours go off to college and graduate. Every time I’m there, she always asks about my kids, by name, and so does Dr. Kaplan. Sheryl runs the place and she is a sweetheart. She has a great handle on insurance and making sure all goes smoothly, and that patients have all the info they need, especially when it comes to the financial aspects of treatment. She never gets annoyed about contacting your insurance provider. Ashley sets all the appointments, sends reminders and probably a million other things. I have communicted with her via text, email and phone call. She’s pleasant and friendly and knows us when we walk through the door. Everyone does! We’ve had cleanings, fillings, crowns, referrals to oral surgeons for wisdom teeth removal, referrals for orthodonitics and so much more. Dr. Kaplan recently started Invisalign treatments, and I’m doing that now. It’s going great, so easy and he explains everything so well. I highly recommend CFADC for your dental needs, especially if you want personalized service and not «factory» type care.

Dr. Kaplan and all of his staff are outstanding. I have been a patient for over 10 years, the first couple during which Dr. Kaplan repaired damage from past work and my own neglect. Since then I have enjoyed great dental health and teeth that get compliments. I have seen many of his staff due to my difficult schedule and every time I have had excellent professional care. His referrals to other specialists when needed have been tremendously valuable. This continues to be a first-​class practice.
