Great place to stay in summer with lots to do(hiking, swimming, golf, cycling, etc) and I’m sure very convenient for skiers in winter with ski in/out access. But beware — there is absolutely no cell phone service((Verizon or ATT). Kind of surprising for such a large resort. There is wifi for internet at the hotel, just no phone service… Otherwise 5 stars.

Our arrival was flawless; impeccable staff, welcome reception and streamlined check in. Slopeside trails make it easy on and off the Jordan Bowl lifts and trails. Lift 13 closed during our stay so we had to traverse on the Kansas Trail(45+ minutes to get to other peaks on a snowboard). Rooms are typical hotel room style with nice kitchenettes. The bedding was truly comfy with duvets and plump pillows. The apothocaries are nice as well. Views are pretty. The hot tub was ok, not too hot and sort of crowded but no big deal. The shuttle bus takes you to and from the hotel to South Ridge and other popular peaks. The only odd point is day 2, our room smelled like burgers. The rooms absorb smells from others. We also heard banging and running around on our third night. Otherwise, a nice place overall.

I’m pleased to say that the items with my room were cleared up quickly after I brought them to management’s attention. I did find it interesting they did not follow up with me after both to let me know the changes had been made and to ensure I was satisfied.

I was actually a little bit disapointed with our stay at the Jordan Grand. First and foremost, it’s WAY out of the way from Sunday River. Yes, it is ski in/ski out but if you’re driving from the base of SR it’s about 12 mins arrrrround the mountain. Our room had a SUPER noisy fridge that woke us up every 40 mins or so and the kiddos upstairs were having some kind of fiesta into the wee hours and we heard every stomp! The folks working there were incredibly nice and friendly, the lobby was beautiful, hot tub was fantastic and the place was pretty clean — it could certainly be worse, but I’ve had better.

Here for a 3-night getaway with a group of 30+. Have been trying to get heat into our meeting room since we got here to no avail. How could a ski resort not be prepared for the cold. It is like 35 outside and 25 inside. Can’t imagine coming during peak ski season and not have heat. You certainly couldn’t stay here with children and have it be this cold. Glad to be leaving in the morning and won’t be back next year.

I am surprised this hasn’t been reviewed yet. I love SUnday River and the Jordan is my favorite spot. It is a bit«out of the way» not being located in the middle of the action. It has a couple restaurants, a spa and a nice pool/jacuzzi setup. I have been to the Jordan many, many, many times. I have enjoyed each visit. The staff are nice and friendly and the resort has done a good job making it more accessible. Ski in/out, free shuttle to main base lodge etc. Rooms are nice — this isn’t 5 star luxury hotel but a great ski lodge — rooms have stoves and fridges if you are inclined to cook.
